DESCRIPTION:This will be a free\, family-friendly fundraising event welcoming Little Blue Heroes families and\nmembers of the public to view approximately 100 supercars displayed throughout College\nGreen. Attendees will have the opportunity to view the vehicles up close\, and support\nfundraising activities taking place during the event. The event will run from 12:00 noon to\n3:00pm.\nDublin City Council have appointed Archetype to produce and manage the event. The\norganisers will work closely with statutory agencies including An Garda Síochána and Dublin\nFire Brigade to ensure the event is delivered safely and responsibly.\nPlease find below a summary of event timings\, including road closure\, set up and breakdown\ntimes:\nLittle Blue Heroes Bumblebee 1000 – Sunday 14th June 2026 \n● 10:00–17:00 – Road closure in place\n● 10:00–12:00 – Event setup and supercar arrivals\n● 12:00–15:00 – Event live to the public\n● 15:00–17:00 – Event breakdown and vehicle departures \nCollege Green will be closed to vehicular traffic from 10:00am to 5:00pm to facilitate the safe\noperation of the event. Appropriate traffic management and safety barriers will be in place\nthroughout the day. Pedestrian access to surrounding areas and businesses will be maintained\nat all times where possible.

But as soon as they step outside\, they find themselves on a blooming great adventure around Dublin on the 16th of June\, 1904! \nJoin us at The James Joyce Centre on Sunday\, June 14th at 11am for a Bloomsday Festival children’s event of fun\, mischief\, and Joyce! Author and illustrator Úna Woods will read from her new children’s book A Blooming Great Day (The O’Brien Press) and lead a drawing workshop. The children will draw scenes from the book and design their own hats! This is a great way for children to be introduced to Joyce and to partake in Dublin’s great literary tradition. \nÚna Woods is a children’s book illustrator and author who lives in Dublin with her husband and two children and their ginger cat. Her previous books include Have You Seen the Dublin Vampire? and A Spooktacular Place to Be\, both published by The O’Brien Press. Úna loves working with bright colours and patterns. She also loves reading and running. \nTickets are €10 or €5 each in our 2-for-1 special.
