He reunites with Glass specialist and muse\, Maki Namekawa\, to reprise their acclaimed 2023 world premiere of the Mishima Piano Concerto for its Irish debut. Crafted from the haunting soundtrack to the 1985 film\, it retains its hypnotic\, cinematic qualities while giving the piano a central\, virtuosic role. \nThe Light\, Glass’s first score for a full symphony orchestra\, and the Interlude from his opera\, The Voyage\, also receive Irish premieres. \nPresented by NCH
