DESCRIPTION:The New Theatre presents Muster by Belema Art House as part of Dublin Fringe Festival. \n  \nHow can you call someone ‘brother’ while keeping the honest parts of yourself locked away? \nTwo friends step into a garden after a funeral\, hip hop blasting. What begins as a eulogy becomes an excavation; inside jokes\, bravado\, avoidance\, intimacy disguised as violence. Slowly\, they speak truths they could never say out loud before. \nThis new work unfolds as a live concept album\, blending spoken-word\, rap and storytelling to shed new light on black masculinity and friendships. It asks us to muster our courage: to confront what we’ve inherited and what we’ll pass on\, and to speak our love while we still can.
