SUMMARY:Ebony | Dublin | The Grand Social
DESCRIPTION:Ebony\, at 25\, is one of the leading voices of female rap in Brazil\, with her songs reaching the top of the Spotify charts and her live shows featured at major festivals across the country. Born and raised in Queimados\, Rio de Janeiro\, Ebony had an upbringing which\, to this day\, affects her songwriting style. As a black child adopted by white religious parents\, growing up in what used to be one of Rio de Janeiro’s most dangerous neighbourhoods\, navigating between the streets\, the church\, abuse\, and an introspective eccentricity\, the stories Ebony tells are some of the most captivating in Brazilian hip hop. Her breakout track “Pensamentos Intrusivos” reached #1 on Brazil’s Spotify Viral Chart\, with multiple releases placing across national charts. She has performed live at the Multishow Awards\, Brazil’s main music awards ceremony\, and appeared on the cover of ELLE Brazil\, as well as becoming the first Brazilian female rapper to cover Galore Magazine. Don’t miss Ebony’s Dublin debut\, her first Irish show to date.

SUMMARY:GLU
DESCRIPTION:GLU Esoteric melodies collide with moody beats and a dynamic flow in GLU; the solo project from Michael Shuman (Queens Of The Stone Age\, Mini Mansions). With no major concentration of genre aside from melding them\, Shuman unravels ribbons of rhyme and musicianship that are introspective and engaging. The EP entitled MY DEMONS released early 2023. “For me\, the project was about being on my own terms; having my own momentum\,” explains Shuman. “Musically\, I wanted to do something that was challenging and something that scared me. I usually start out writing riffs but for GLU I had to write a lot of lyrics. Sitting on a computer\, starting with a beat and using synthesizers and keyboards opened up so many new possibilities. This is something that is different because I do come from punk rock\, but I’m doing this… so it’s not going to sound like your typical DJ or Hip-Hop producer. I want it to feel fresh\, and that’s the most exciting thing for me.” \nThe back and forth of Shuman’s soft\, ariose soundscapes lead way to catchy lyrics touching on subjects of struggle\, loss\, addiction\, and trauma\, hence; MY DEMONS. Emotional explosions emerge in a realm of calm hip hop with upbeat\, poppy moments. “A lot of this is me speaking as an adult now\, but it’s talking about me as a child. I’m at an age where I don’t care as much about masking things\, lyrically.” With guest vocalist Sarah Barthel (vocalist of Phantogram) lending a soothing voice to the self-titled intro\, the well rounded tone of the EP lays out a curious\, sonic fantasy. “I like the idea of different voices coming in and Sarah is a real singer\,” states Shuman. “She can do anything and it sounds great. She was really helpful in elevating these songs.” Mixed by Adam Thane and mastered by Dale Becker. \nThe first single of 2025 “BOOGIE MAN”\, is an infectious genre bending power track that chronologies the feeling of losing yourself in the moment\, and not having any outside worries or anxieties about who may be watching or what they may think. Akin to artists like Jamiroquai\, Gorillaz\, and Mac Miller. \nGLU has had the chance to play these songs live on tours with Phantogram\, The Blue Stones\, Miles Kane and Blood Red Shoes. “Boogie Man is a dance song about stepping outside yourself\, letting loose\, and not taking yourself too seriously. Life is short…. Who cares about what others think.” says Shuman. \nThe track was selected for a sync placement on the latest instalment of the beloved video game series MLB The Show ‘25 and features alongside artists including Kendrick Lamar\, De La Soul and COIN. \nRiding the momentum into Spring & Summer 2025\, GLU took Boogie Man to clubs and venues across the UK and USA\, selling out release shows in London\, Chicago & Los Angeles. \nHeading into 2026 Shumans team expands\, GLU inks a recording deal with FLG (Skunk Anansie\, Corella\, As It Is) and celebrates this by releasing a cover version of the classic 90’s hit ‘Crush’ by Jennifer Paige. \n‘Looking for the right cover song is an interesting task.’ Says Shuman ‘You are searching for a song\, which inherently is so deeply personal to the person who wrote it\, yet it has to connect with you enough to try and make it your own. Not so much musically\, but lyrically. The music side is the fun part\, where you augment it to a completely different landscape\, giving a totally different perspective to the original. Crush is an amazing pop song written by Jennifer Paige\, but was produced at a time where I don’t think it got its due. That being said it was a huge hit that most of the world knows well. I think that’s the other factor in choosing\, so that when you play live to an audience who may not know your material\, there’s that one song in the set they already are a fan of.’

SUMMARY:SHADY NASTY
DESCRIPTION:Shady Nasty subvert expectations. In a world bound by modded cars\, immigrant heritage and digital obsessions\, Kevin Stathis\, Haydn Green and Luca Watson craft a left-field breed of punk that pushes their formal training in jazz and classical music to its most uncustomary extremes. \nInfluences like King Krule\, Low Life and Show Me The Body surface not as reference points\, but as undercurrents — absorbed and reconfigured into something idiosyncratic and distinctly their own. \nEarly EPs Bad Posture and CLUBSMOKE earned praise from The Guardian\, NME\, Kerrang!\, The Line of Best Fit\, DIY\, Stereogum and VICE\, each showcasing immersive world-building that has shaped a consistent voice over the past seven years. \nMarked by a distinctive harbour-city twang\, TREK — their long-awaited debut album — grapples with the less-than-glamorous hard graft of staying afloat while remaining creatively uncompromised in Sydney. Produced by Kim Moyes of The Presets\, the record ventures into more textured\, exploratory territory than ever before. Four months in\, it’s resonated with longtime fans and newcomers alike\, earning acclaim from FBi Radio (Album of the Week)\, RTR FM (Feature Album)\, triple j Unearthed (Feature Artist)\, NME Magazine\, Ones to Watch and more. \nRecently\, the group has shared stages with Skeleten\, Shame\, High Vis\, Ho99o9\, Sleaford Mods\, Gustaf\, Amyl and The Sniffers\, among others. Through their own headline shows\, they’ve cultivated a cult following across Sydney’s underground — including a sold-out run of album shows earlier this April. No matter the venue\, no matter the bill\, devout adherents clamber to fuel a heaving mosh.

SUMMARY:Foggy Notions Presents the Kitty Craft
DESCRIPTION:Kitty Craft is Pamela Valfer. \nDebuting in 1994 with the S/T cassette release on the Australian\,Toytown label\, and IT’S STUPID EP 7″ in 1995\, Pam’s sound was originally a low-tech affair. 1997’s I GOT RULEZ EP 7” expanded her sound with keys & sampler\, leading to 1998 release of BEATS & BREAKS ROM THE FLOWER PATCH. In 2000\, her 2nd full-length album\, CATSKILLS. Both albums had Japanese tours and Japanese CD releases. \nAround 2003/2004 after the completion of her 3rd Album… Pam dropped the mic\, hung up her headphones\, and put kitty craft into hibernation. The album was put down\, filed away\, and no plans to be heard. Pam then focused on her visual and multimedia art\, and career as an art professor. \nIn 2019\, kitty craft woke from hibernation and quietly without fanfare\, released “Beats and Breaks from the Flower Patch” and “Catskills” on all\nstreaming & digital platforms. Followed soon after by “Lost Tapes”\, a gem of an album\, comprised exclusively of the previously unreleased\nsongs recorded as a full album in 2003. \nIn some kind of pandemic zeitgeist\, along with stuff like Lofi Girl/ChilledCow\, a 90’s aesthetic resurgence\, and the popularity of new and old vinyl records – kitty craft has been adopted by a whole new group of digital natives. Amazing and unexpected. \nValentine’s Day 2022 brought us kitty craft’s first full-length LP vinyl record… MEW (1994-2004)\, an anthology album with tracks spanning all\nher eras… MEW\, shows an artist with a clear vision from the start. \nSince then – the Kitty Craft discography has been re-issued in expanded/deluxe CD and vinyl editions. And some cassettes too! \nIn November of 2024\, Los Angeles – Pam played her first show in 20+ years to an incredible response. Now 2025 and touring in earnest\, Kitty\nCraft’s new young fans have created a wonderful and welcoming scene. You should come say hi.

SUMMARY:PUMA BLUE
DESCRIPTION:Puma Blue is the alias of artist\, producer & songwriter\, Jacob Allen. Originally from South-London\, currently based in Atlanta; Puma Blue first gained wider attention with his EPs Swum Baby (2017) & Blood Loss (2018). His debut album In Praise Of Shadows was released in 2021\, followed by concert-film ‘A Late Night Special’. \nNoted for a blend of sensuality\, intimate fragility & haunting\, nocturnal ambience\, Puma Blue’s live shows feature a band of close friends\, blending jazz-influenced improvisation with a vocal energy often likened to Jeff Buckley. \nHis second album Holy Waters\, a darker\, band-focused meditation on the acceptance of death\, was released in 2023 & hailed a triumph. In 2025 it was followed by surprise album\, antichamber\, announced mere hours before release\, an ambient\, stripped-back body of work featuring obscure\, minimalist arrangements & field recordings. In October 2025\, Puma Blue announced that new music was once again imminent\, sharing fragments of new single ‘Desire’ – set for release on 22nd October 2025.

SUMMARY:M.O.P: 25th Anniversary of Warriorz
DESCRIPTION:M.O.P. (Mash Out Posse) are one of the most uncompromising and explosive duos in hip-hop history. Consisting of Billy Danze (born Eric Murray) and Lil’ Fame (born Jamal Grinnage)\, M.O.P. emerged from the hard concrete of Brownsville\, Brooklyn\, New York—an environment that shaped both their sound and their worldview. Their music is raw\, aggressive\, and brutally honest\, channeling street reality into high-energy hardcore hip-hop that has earned them legendary status worldwide. \nM.O.P. first made waves in the early 1990s\, quickly standing out for their no-frills delivery\, militant intensity\, and unfiltered lyricism. Their debut album To the Death (1994) laid the foundation for their reputation as one of the toughest acts in the game. But it was the release of Warriorz in 2000 that cemented their legacy\, featuring timeless anthems like Ante Up\, Cold As Ice\, and “Warriorz”—tracks that remain adrenaline-fueled classics to this day. \nTheir signature sound blends ferocious vocal performances with gritty\, sample-driven production\, creating music that feels like a rallying cry from the streets. M.O.P.’s influence reaches far beyond album sales: they have collaborated with countless artists\, appeared on major soundtracks\, and inspired generations of MCs who value authenticity over trends. \n25 Years of Warriorz Tour \nTo celebrate the 25th anniversary of Warriorz\, M.O.P. are returning to the stages of Europe with the 25 Years of Warriorz Tour—harder\, louder\, and more relentless than ever before. Since the mid 1990s\, Lil’ Fame and Billy Danze have stood for pure\, unfiltered hardcore hip-hop\, and few acts can match their unique blend of raw energy\, military-style pressure\, and street poetry. \n\nThis tour is a tribute to a quarter-century of uncompromising hip-hop. Fans can expect a set packed with classic bangers\, unexpected moments\, and a stage presence that has set standards for 25 years. Tracks like “Ante Up\,” “Cold As Ice\,” and “Warriorz” don’t just get played—they detonate\, turning venues into pressure cookers of sweat\, movement\, and collective energy. \n\nM.O.P. live is not nostalgia—it’s impact. Their shows are legendary: brutal\, electrifying\, and intensely physical. From the first beat to the last shout\, they deliver with a force that leaves no room for compromise. M.O.P. are back. \nNot a concert. \nNot an event. \nA damn experience.

SUMMARY:Perspectives: Makaya McCraven
DESCRIPTION:After celebrating the 10th anniversary of his groundbreaking album In the Moment\, Makaya McCraven continues to push the boundaries of what we call jazz – inviting you on a journey through time\, space\, and culture. With his latest album\, In These Times – the result of over seven years of relentless work – he presents a fusion of improvisation\, innovative rhythms\, and deep cultural references. \nOften described as a “cultural synthesizer\,” McCraven believes that the term “jazz” is simply not enough to capture the musical phenomenon he creates. As The New York Times has noted\, “McCraven has quietly become one of the best arguments for jazz’s vitality.” \nBetween August and October 2025\, Makaya McCraven has simultaneously released four new EPs titled Techno Logic\, PopUp Shop\, Hidden Out!\, and The People’s Mixtape. All four EPs were produced in McCraven’s signature ‘organic beat music’ style that first debuted on his 2015 album In The Moment\, and further developed across subsequent releases Highly Rare\, Where We Come From\, and Universal Beings\, where he exercises heavy post-production on live recordings of improvisations he leads from the drumkit.

SUMMARY:Joey Valence & Brae - HYPERYOUTH
DESCRIPTION:In the 4 years since joining forces\, fast-rising\, genre-defying alt/hip-hop phenoms Joey Valence & Brae have cemented themselves as a must-see live act and bonafide recording artists with viral one-off singles and full-length projects like their recently released third studio album HYPERYOUTH. \nJoey Valence & Brae have announced they’ll bring their HYPERMOUTH tour to 3Olympia Theatre\, Dublin on Thursday 7th May 2026. \n\n\nWith the volume turned up to max capacity and while remaining undeniably themselves throughout\, JVB is as eclectic and hard-hitting as ever on HYPERYOUTH and recently wrapped the first leg of their sold-out HYPERYOUTH WORLD TOUR in celebration of the new record which brought their insane live show (which BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders calls “the best live show I’ve been to in years”) to cities throughout North America and the UK as well as to major festivals including Gov Ball\, Bonnaroo\, Lollapalooza (Chicago\, Paris and Berlin)\, Osheaga\, Shaky Knees\, Austin City Limits Music Festival and more. \nHYPERYOUTH was written\, produced\, mixed and mastered by the pair in Joey’s State College\, PA bedroom and is jam-packed with all the hallmarks of the best of JVB. It’s a sample-heavy\, maximalist rager threaded by boisterous raps\, booty popping bars\, catchy call and response hooks and EDM-infused beats\, and features the likes of JPEGMAFIA\, Rebecca Black and TiaCorine. The record digs deeper thematically\, weaving a message of growing up without getting old throughout — a marked\, lyrical evolution and the duo’s most innovative work to date that still marries elements from their early hits and critically-acclaimed debut PUNK TACTICS (its title track was Certified RIAA Gold) and sophomore LP NO HANDS + NO HANDS (Deluxe Edition)\, which featured Danny Brown\, Z-Trip and Ayesha Erotica. \nIn between those drops\, they’ve collaborated with an eclectic mix of friends and fans including IDK\, Pendulum\, 6ix\, ACRAZE and Apashe\, and conquered the sync market over the past year\, appearing in viral commercials including Pepsi’s award-winning “Chase Cars\,” in video games such as Madden NFL 26\, WWE 2025\, MLB: The Show 24 and on popular TV shows including Abbott Elementary\, Cobra Kai\, Based on a True Story and more. \nWith each year\, JVB grow bolder\, braver and louder\, turning up the volume on their swag as they skillfully traverse a smash and grab collision of 90s hip-hop\, drum ‘n’ bass and decades-spanning pop culture references\, carving out their own niche with a signature sound that’s equal-parts nostalgic yet futuristic\, authentic and infectious while still on a mission to one day open a Cheesecake Factory in their hometown.

SUMMARY:Singular Artists presents Goldlink
DESCRIPTION:Singular Artists presents Goldlink – 10th Anniversary of ‘And After That We Didn’t Talk’ \nSunday\, May 3rd 2026 \nThere wasn’t exactly a place in the landscape for an artist like GoldLink-until GoldLink made one. Raised in and around Washington\, D.C.\, the rapper (born D’Anthony Carlos in 1993) started writing music in his late teens\, staking out an uncharted space at the intersection of hip-hop\, house\, electronic music\, and R&B-a colourful\, head-spinning sound that made him stand out instantly. In 2014\, he released his debut mixtape\, The God Complex; the next year\, he made the XXL Freshman Class. Buoyed by a mentoring credit from Def Jam co-founder Rick Rubin\, And After That\, We Didn’t Talk followed in 2015\, striking a balance between narrative grit and a sparkling\, effervescent sound. \nIn 2017\, he released At What Cost\, featuring the Grammy-nominated “Crew.” Alongside MCs and producers like Anderson .Paak\, KAYTRANADA\, Flume\, and Chance the Rapper\, GoldLink’s sound represents an ever-broadening sense of what hip-hop and dance music can do\, imagining a borderless club world where affiliations of genre and region bow to the music’s overall feel: not rap\, not electronic\, but what GoldLink has playfully called “future bounce” —and he’s making it right now.

DESCRIPTION:TUL8TE is one of the most exciting breakout artists of his generation — an Egyptian Gen Z icon whose music and mystique have grown into a global movement. SUMMARY:Lloyd Banks
DESCRIPTION:Celebrating Two Decades of Hip-Hop Excellence with Lloyd Banks \n\n** \nThere has always been a sense of precision at the centre of Lloyd Banks’ \nmusic. From his earliest recordings\, his voice arrived measured and \ncontrolled\, defined by sharp wordplay\, calm authority\, and a writing style \nbuilt on discipline and intent. Emerging from New York in the early 2000s\, \nBanks established himself as a lyricist whose verses carried weight without \nexcess\, earning attention far beyond the city that shaped him. \nFirst gaining global exposure as a core founding member of G-Unit\, Banks \nfound himself at the forefront of one of hip-hop’s most visible eras. That \nmoment introduced his sound to audiences worldwide\, while his solo \ncatalogue quickly revealed the depth and clarity that would define his \ncareer on his own terms.
