Celebrating his 80th birthday and the 65th year of an extraordinary career\, Spike has provided the beat for icons like Tubby Hayes\, Stan Getz\, and Roland Kirk. He was even a student of the great Philly Joe Jones. \nRiley Stone-Lonergan (Tenor Saxophone): Hailing from Galway\, Ireland\, Riley is a Yamaha Jazz Scholar and a rising star on the London scene. His “boundless creative imagination” and stimulating original compositions are the heart of the trio’s modern sound. \nEddie Myer (Bass): Representing the diversity of “Gen X\,” Eddie provides the “heavy gut-string” foundation.
