DESCRIPTION:Like a symbol. What better way to rekindle the Cassius flame than with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games? After the tragic death of Philippe ‘Zdar’ Cerboneschi in June 2019\, the flame is burning brightly again thanks to the determination of Hubert ‘BoomBass’ Blanc-Francard\, the other member of the duo\, to revive this legendary name in the French Touch. And not just on 8 September during the Closing Ceremony of the Para Olympic Games\, the first appearance of this reinvented Cassius. The trigger for this genuine reconstruction came during the many DJ sets Hubert has performed in France and abroad in trio with his two accomplices Étienne de Crécy and Falcon over the last few months. The audience’s rapturous reactions when he played Cassius‘ hits (’Feeling For You’\, “I’m a Woman”\, “I <3 U SO” among others) convinced him that the story couldn’t end there. With the certainty that a name that still resonates on dancefloors the world over should not be allowed to fade away\, BoomBass is launching Cassius’ comeback at the end of 2024. With the release of a Best-Of on 11 October and the first Cassius Club date a few days earlier\, on 9 October at the Rex Club in Paris. This concept will soon be extended to dancefloors the world over\, where Hubert will be surrounded by his many friends as well as new talent. And there’s more surprises in store for 2025. We can’t wait. The baseline ‘Cassius rockin’ non-stop since 1999’ is back in vogue.

DESCRIPTION:London-born Arlo Parks won the Mercury Music Prize for her debut 2021 album Collapsed in Sunbeams\, won Breakthrough Artist at the 2021 Brit Awards\, and received two Grammy and Ivor Novello nominations. She was coined “the voice of her generation”. Her follow up My Soft Machine featured the likes of Phoebe Bridges and saw her continue to tour globally. 2025 saw her become the youngest ever appointed UNICEF Ambassador as she continues her humanitarian work. 2026 sees the release of her much anticipated third album Ambiguous Desire. Referencing everything from the queer hedonism of NYC’s Paradise Garage to the moody nocturnal British beats of The Streets and Burial\,the glittering synth catharsis of LCD Soundsystem\, and rooted house grooves of Theo Parrish\, Ambiguous Desire is Parks at her most confident and experimental. DESCRIPTION:Cry Before Dawn first formed in Wexford in 1982\, and fuse guitar driven rock with traditional Irish pipes and whistles to create a uniquely powerful and dynamic sound \nThe band has 2 Double Platinum selling albums to their name as well as prestigious national awards. These include “Best Newcomer” in 1987 and “Best Irish Group” in 1989\, reflecting the huge popularity of the band across the country \nTheir reputation for passionate and driven performances grew through their extensive live work in Ireland\, the UK and the USA\, and saw them sell out Ireland’s National Stadium on two occasions \nHaving parted company for many years\, Cry Before Dawn reformed in 2011 which coincided with the release of a “Best Of” CD\, followed by a new single “Is This What You Waited For” and a new live album\, “Live at the Opera House” as well as tours of Ireland and the UK \nIn 2023 a re-energised Cry Before Dawn took to the road\, and played a series of key festivals and sell out headline shows around the country which attracted glowing press reviews \n2024 has seen the band embark on a lengthy nationwide tour\, once again selling out multiple major venues around the country including two consecutive shows at the Wexford Spiegeltent\, and three nights at the legendary Whelan’s Main Venue in Dublin. Explosive performances at major international festivals such as Forest Fest and Night & Day during the summer has cemented their reputation as one of Ireland’s finest live bands.
