There is a cinematic quality to its world building\, \ndrawing on fragments of science fiction and folk imagery\, all threaded through the feeling of a long\, \nopen-ended road trip. \n\nBuilt around a driving low end groove and analogue led production\, much of the track was shaped \nusing the Dave Smith / Roger Linn Tempest\, before being expanded with Rhodes and guitar. DESCRIPTION:Transvision Vamp were formed in West London by Wendy James and Nick Christian Sayer\, along with Dave Parsons and Tex Axile. They were signed to MCA Records by A&R legend Dave Ambrose and released their breakthrough debut album ‘Pop Art’ in 1988\, featuring hit singles such as ‘I Want Your Love’\, ‘Tell That Girl To Shut Up’ and ‘Revolution Baby’. \nSecond album ‘Velveteen’\, which included the smash hit ‘Baby I Don’t Care’\, was released the following year and reached number 1 in the UK Charts and 10 other countries around the world. Their third and final album\, ‘Little Magnets Versus The Bubble Of Babble’\, was released in 1991 and was their biggest USA release\, securing No.1 spots in all the indie and college charts. Ironically\, the album was not made available domestically in the UK until years later. \nThe band did two world tours that year\, and Kurt Cobain famously attended many of the US shows\, wearing TTV t-shirts and declaring himself a fan. Wendy cited this album as her favourite\, specifically highlighting the song ‘If Looks Could Kill’. In 1992\, Transvision Vamp called time-out in San Francisco. \nDuring the span of Transvision Vamp\, Wendy was made a cover star of many magazines worldwide\, was photographed by everyone from David Bailey for Tatler Magazine\, Jurgen Teller for The Face Magazine and i-D Magazine. She became known for her forthright TV appearances and became an international household name.

The album was recorded in Glasgow in 2023 and includes a selection of old and new songs performed by the post-1999 line-up with Paul McLoone on vocals. \nTHE UNDERTONES – Part 1 – 1976 – 1983\nThe Undertones emerged from Derry in 1976\, the result of five friends (John O’Neill\, Damian O’Neill\, Feargal Sharkey\, Billy Doherty and Michael Bradley) learning how to play basic rock and roll. \nEven by the standards of that decade Derry was not the rock and roll capital of anywhere. With no live bands worth watching\, they learned by listening to mail order records\, reading one of the few copies of NME that made it to Derry but most of all from listening to John Peel’s wonderful show on BBC Radio One. Practicing in their bedrooms eventually led to the band recording John O’Neill’s ‘Teenage Kicks’ in 1978 on Terri Hooley’s Good Vibrations label in Belfast. The legendary DJ John Peel received a copy and liked it so much he played it twice in a row on his radio show. \nThe Undertones signed with Sire Records and ‘Teenage Kicks’ was re-released\, resulting in the band’s first appearance on Top of the Pops. Over the next five years\, John O Neill\, crafted further pop gems such as `Here Comes The Summer`\, ‘Jimmy Jimmy`\, `You’ve Got My Number (Why Don’t You Use It)’ and ‘Wednesday Week’ whilst Damian O’Neill and Michael Bradley contributed ‘My Perfect Cousin. They also recorded four highly acclaimed LPs. Indeed\, they almost enjoyed the life of professional musicians. In 1983 Feargal Sharkey left the band to pursue a solo career and the remaining members decided to call it a day. The Undertones were to remain silent for the next sixteen years. \nTHE UNDERTONES – Part 2 – 1999 –\nIn 1999 The Undertones reconvened\, without Feargal Sharkey\, to once again perform their two-minute\, three and a half chord songs to a new generation of fans in Derry and around the World…Fellow Derryman Paul McLoone replaced Sharkey on vocals and his vocal prowess and electric onstage presence soon convinced any doubters that he was more than capable of doing the job. \nAfter much consideration the band released an LP of new songs called `Get What You Need’\, which was critically acclaimed by Q magazine\, Uncut\, Rolling Stone and Hot Press. Songs like ‘Thrill Me’\, ‘I Need Your Love The Way It Used To Be’ and ‘Everything But You’ showed that the art of writing short\, sharp songs had not been lost over the previous two decades. \nIn 2003 ‘Thrill Me’ was released as a limited edition 7” vinyl single and found its way to John Peel’s turntable. He introduced it on his show commenting\, “And these are words I thought I would never be saying on radio again\, a new single from The Undertones”. He liked it so much he played it twice\, just as he did with ‘Teenage Kicks’ in 1978. \nIn 2016 the Band released vinyl remasters of ther first two LPs; ‘The Undertones – The Undertones’ and ‘The Undertones – Hypnotised’ along with a 7” vinyl remix of the 1979 single ‘Get Over You’. Remixed by Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine/Primal Scream). Michael Bradley also published his book Teenage Kicks: My Life as An Undertone’. \n2018 marked the 40th Anniversary of the release of their most influential and famous song\, ’Teenage Kicks’.  On 21st April for Record Store Day 2018 the band released a Vinyl Singles Box Set containing the 13 x 7” original Undertones singles from the classic early period: 1978-1983.

Hailing from San Francisco\, Filipino-American artist April Harper Grey started making music as underscores in middle school\, when years of noodling around on GarageBand culminated in the realization that\, if taken seriously enough\, this whole “trying to be like Skrillex” thing might amount to something great. \nFor years\, underscores released a steady stream of one-offs via SoundCloud\, which endeared her to like minded artists and a burgeoning community of fans\, but it wasn’t until 2017\, with the release of EP skin purifying treatment\, that the project stepped out of its solitary origins and began to capture the attention of a much larger audience. In 2021\, underscores released the debut underscores album\, fishmonger\, which was written and recorded in that same childhood bedroom amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. \nThat collection launched underscores from recording vocals in a car to opening for 100 Gecs on the U.S. leg of the 10\,000 Gecs tour. Before hitting the road\, underscores released yet another collection\, boneyard aka fearmonger\, a collection of seven tracks that manages to sound like both the climax of and the morning after the craziest night of your life. On the heels of 10\,000 Gecs\, the first underscores mini-tour sold out in NY\, LA\, Chicago\, and underscores’s hometown of San Francisco. Since then\, underscores has played Lollapalooza’s Main Stage\, Electric Forest\, FVDED in the Park\, and Corona Capital CDMX. \nIndependent since the project’s inception\, underscores signed to Mom+Pop last year. She also debuted “Count of three (You can eat $#@!)” – co-written with Dylan Brady (of 100 Gecs)\, Cashmere Cat\, Benny Blanco – on 100 Gecs’ Dog Show Records. Since dropping boneyard aka fearmonger\, she’s produced music for Alice Longyu Gao\, glaive\, Whethan\, and renforshort. The world eagerly awaits the next underscores record\, Wallsocket\, knowing it will jolt us out of reverie. That is\, after all\, underscores’s ethos: “When people listen to underscores\, I want their initial reaction to be\, ‘This is ridiculous.’ But the more they listen to it\, they should hear the nuance in it\, the heaviness in it\, and I hope they connect with it on some kind of emotional level. The ultimate goal is to turn people off\, then win them back.”

Hailing from San Francisco\, Filipino-American artist April Harper Grey started making music as underscores in middle school\, when years of noodling around on GarageBand culminated in the realization that\, if taken seriously enough\, this whole “trying to be like Skrillex” thing might amount to something great. \nFor years\, underscores released a steady stream of one-offs via SoundCloud\, which endeared her to like minded artists and a burgeoning community of fans\, but it wasn’t until 2017\, with the release of EP skin purifying treatment\, that the project stepped out of its solitary origins and began to capture the attention of a much larger audience. In 2021\, underscores released the debut underscores album\, fishmonger\, which was written and recorded in that same childhood bedroom amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. \nThat collection launched underscores from recording vocals in a car to opening for 100 Gecs on the U.S. leg of the 10\,000 Gecs tour. Before hitting the road\, underscores released yet another collection\, boneyard aka fearmonger\, a collection of seven tracks that manages to sound like both the climax of and the morning after the craziest night of your life. \nShe then debuted “Count of three (You can eat $#@!)” – co-written with Dylan Brady (of 100 Gecs)\, Cashmere Cat\, Benny Blanco – on 100 Gecs’ Dog Show Records. Since dropping boneyard aka fearmonger\, she’s produced music for Alice Longyu Gao\, glaive\, Whethan\, and renforshort. \nThe world eagerly awaited the next underscores record\, Wallsocket in 2023 and have now been served with underscores’ latest record U which came out in March 2026. This will be supported by the GALLERIA European Chapter.

DESCRIPTION:Swapmeet is a 4-piece band from South Australia composed of Venus O’Broin (guitar\, vocals)\, Joshua Doherty (bass)\, Maxwell Elphick (guitar\, drums\, vocals)\, and Jack Medlyn (guitar\, drums\, vocals). \nHaving recently caught the ear of American indie label Winspear\, the band is readying their debut album and offering a taste of the newmaterial with “I Know!”\, a cathartic and buoyant debut single for their new label home. \nRevved up with gleaming\, fuzzy guitars and energetic percussion\, the new track blurs jangle pop\, shoegaze\, and alt-rock with tongue-in-cheek precision. The group met as teenagers in the early 2020s while playing in various projects around the Adelaide music scene and bonded over their love of 90s alternative. \nThey soon started writing music together and released their debut single in late 2023 and quickly returned with their debut EP\, Oxalis\, in mid-2024. Now\, the band has started moving out of local pub gigs and into big venues\, opening for international touring artists across the whole of Australia\, and recently won the Emerging Artist & Best Performance Award at SXSW Sydney for their charismatic live show.
