SUMMARY:PIER
DESCRIPTION:An emotional ebb and flow of love\, loss\, anger\, and everything in between\, Pier’s songs live in contrast\, moving from near whispers to full-lung outbursts. His voice knows when to hold back and when to break through\, carrying a steady\, unguarded sense of vulnerability. \nPier returns in 2026 with Burgundy\, the first single from his upcoming The Daisy EP. Following his debut The Harvest EP and a series of shape-shifting collaborations with DJ and producer Arveene (KNEECAP\, Bon Voyage etc.)\, Pier brought these songs to life on stage with his band before turning inward again. The result is a focused body of four tracks and a renewed creative partnership with producer Ber Quinn (Lisa Hannigan\, John Grant\, The Divine Comedy etc.). \nBorn Pierfrancesco Dessì and raised in Sarroch\, a small industrial town on Sardinia’s southern coast\, Pier’s relationship with music developed quietly. After dropping out of architecture studies\, he moved to Finland\, spending time working in a metal mechanics factory\, before relocating to Ireland\, where he has lived for the past eight years and become part of Dublin’s vibrant music scene. \nInfluenced by ’90s alternative rock and Britpop\, echoes of Jeff Buckley and Radiohead can be heard throughout expansive and lush production\, which revolves around his vocal delivery. His Sardinian heritage quietly informs the way the songs are written\, influencing harmony\, sound texture\, and overall style\, without ever becoming an overstatement.

SUMMARY:Festival of Voice: Songs of Earth with Cór Linn
DESCRIPTION:Festival of Voice is a weekend festival celebrating the power\, beauty and universality of the human voice. \nJourney through music that speaks to the heart\, the land\, and the shared human spirit. Songs of the Earth  weaves together folk traditions\, sacred reflections\, and contemporary choral soundscapes from around the world. From the rhythmic energy of Balleilakka and Ritmo to the profound stillness of When the Earth Stands Still\, this programme celebrates humanity’s connection to place\, faith\, love\, and hope. Lush harmonies\, evocative poetry\, and powerful rhythms combine in a concert that moves between joy and contemplation\, reminding us of music’s ability to unite voices across cultures and generations. \nCór Linn is an auditioned\, mixed voice choir of 55 singers aged 14 -18\, performing a wide range of repertoire from classical to contemporary. Founded by RTÉ in September 2018\, the choir was established to provide young singers with an opportunity to develop their vocal skills and to serve as a stepping-stone into adult ensembles. Following its transfer to the National Concert Hall in January 2022\, Cór Linn has settled into rehearsals and performances alongside its NCH choral family – National Symphony Chorus Ireland and Cór na nÓg. \nInitially conducted by Mary Amond O’Brien (2018–2023) and now led by Ciarán Kelly (Sept 2023 – present)\, the choir has continued to grow from strength to strength. Its achievements include winning the Youth Choir Competition at the City of Derry International Choir Festival in 2024 and 2025\, the Sacred Music Competition 2025\, and the prestigious National Choir of the Festival Award 2025. Rehearsals are highly focused\, incorporating sectional work and regular vocal coaching\, while also placing strong emphasis on the joy of singing and performing together. Many members go on to join adult choirs in college and beyond\, bringing the friendships and skills they’ve developed with them throughout their lives. \nRecent performances have included a celebration of music from film and musical theatre (March 2025)\, and a Christmas 2025 performance with Fabre Chamber Choir in the Adam and Eve’s Church\, Merchant’s Quay\, Dublin. In July 2026 they will making their international debut\, performing at the Bratislava Summer Music Festival. \nCiarán Kelly \nCiarán is a versatile and accomplished conductor\, singer and composer based in Dublin. Originally from Derry\, he currently serves as Director of Cór Linn\, The Guinness Choir\, and Fabre Chamber Choir. He also holds the position of Head of Music at King’s Hospital School in Palmerstown\, Co. Dublin.  He is a former Assistant Director of Music at St Mary’s Pro Cathedral and the Irish International A Cappella Festival and has released numerous albums with Ardú\, an award-winning vocal group he founded in 2014. \nCiarán’s training with the VOCES8 Foundation in London led to workshops in the UK\, Europe and Asia where he worked in schools and universities as well as with choral societies and professional singers. He has worked as a singer and educator with many choral organisations\, such as Sing Ireland\, National Youth Choir of Great Britain\, Anúna and Chamber Choir Ireland. \nIn addition to his work as a conductor\, Ciarán is an accomplished composer with works performed by ensembles across the UK and Europe. His collaboration with Carl Corcoran\, A Child of the Universe\, was  premiered at the National Concert Hall as part of the New Music Dublin Festival 2025. In July 2024 he led the development of the first NCH Youth Choir Summer Course at the National Concert Hall\, Dublin. \nCiarán has served as Choral Director of Cór Linn since September 2023\, programming a diverse range of concerts and leading the ensemble to major successes at the City of Derry International Choir Festival in 2024 and 2025\, including winning the National Choir of the Festival award in 2025. \nOrlaith Sharkey \nOrlaith Sharkey\, a Donegal native\, is a pianist and accompanist based in Dublin. She completed a Master’s in Music at MTU Cork School of Music in 2025\, following a BMus in Pedagogy from TU Dublin Conservatoire and a professional mentorship at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. In 2024 she won the Larchet Memorial Cup for sight-reading accompaniment at Dublin’s Feis Ceoil\, and in 2025  was one of the Festival’s official accompanists. Orlaith was selected to be the Peter Rankin Piano Intern at the Glenarm Festival of Voice in 2024 and 2025. \nOrlaith is currently accompanist for the Portmarnock Singers\, the Seafield Singers and since September 2025\, the National Concert Hall’s youth choir Cór Linn\, and is the official accompanist for the TU Dublin Operatic Society season 2025-2026. She also enjoys working as a piano teacher at Rathdown School\, Glenageary and St. Andrews College\, Booterstown. \nHighlights from 2025 include a recital with Sorcha O’Regan (Soprano) at the Boyle Arts Festival and recitals with Rory Dunne (Bass-Baritone) and Maria Mulcahy (Flautist). Orlaith also accompanied the Walter’s State Community College Chamber Choir from Tennesse on their 2025 Irish tour. \nPresented by NCH and supported by IPUT Real Estate Dublin

SUMMARY:Bernard Shaw Presents: Mind Enterprises
DESCRIPTION:Mind Enterprises is the aesthetic universe and musical dreamworld of producer Andrea Tirone\, returning to Dublin on their 2026 tour \n\n\n\n\nMind Enterprises is the aesthetic universe and musical dreamworld of Turin raised producer Andrea Tirone. Born in 1985\, Tirone draws from the fizzy\, synth-powered Italo that defined the era; groovy\, disco-adjacent basslines\, hypnotic drum patterns and cosmic keyboard odysseys that traverse continents.Through his visual output\, which is spiced with tongue-in-cheek humour\, Tirone pokes fun at consumerism and parodies the silliness of the ‘80s. \nFinding new inspiration from his recent move to Barcelona Mind Enterprises are focusing on writing a new album\, in the meantime playing live shows and DJ sets around Europe.

SUMMARY:DUENDITA
DESCRIPTION:Foggy Notions presents the Irish debut of duendita \nWhat the press is saying about duendita: \n“fragility meets pugnacity” The New York Times \n“warm soul\, and great emotional depth.” Pitchfork \n“a voice that seems to defy the laws of this realm” Teen Vogue \n“inspiring the type of warm\, calming introspection that makes you appreciate everything around you” Alternative Press \n“duendita crafts music that heals” The FADER a strong desire to survive \nNew York City’s duendita released a strong desire to survive via 10k in April 2025. The 10-track project embeds the listener into duendita’s spellbinding realm and follows the lauded EP the mind is a miracle released in 2024. \na strong desire to survive was born from duendita’s transformative experience during their first extended trip to Berlin where they first met longtime collaborators Noah Becker and Anton Remy. “We would jam all the time at Baketown\, our recording studio and art space in Schoenberg. It was an era where I’d write on their beats or at the piano\, and I couldn’t stop writing about the pain\,” they share\, “all these bangers came out about how badly I wanted to live and overcome it all.” a strong desire to survive includes the previously shared track “baby teeth\,” which includes a sample of 9 vocalists\, singing in harmony as a choir – all recorded in duendita’s bedroom\, along with the track “cutie.” The upcoming project’s visual direction is equally as poignant as its musical heart. duendita enlisted friend and artist Kiyomi Taylor to create the cover art\, which features an image of a deep-sea creature who has adapted to survive in the most grotesque way. “She’s grown long nails\, gills\, scales\, and killer teeth\, just to survive. At first glance\, the man in the image looks like her next meal\, but in reality\, she wishes she could hold someone without scratching or hurting them\,” duendita explains. “This image mirrors the themes of the project – survival\, transformation\, and the struggle to love and be loved.” \nduendita is a band from Queens\, New York. They write and produce their own music\, imbuing it with a reverence for their ancestry\, community\, and faith. Anchored by achy\, bass-coated tones and mix of jazz\, piano\, soul and R&B\, duendita’s music is evocative of the complexities and sentimentality of the human experience. Flowing in various shapes and formations\, duendita is a living collaborative project made with family and friends across mediums and cities.

SUMMARY:KAITLIN BUTTS
DESCRIPTION:A truly one-of-a-kind artist\, Kaitlin Butts has a deep affinity for country music’s more theatrical side: the extravagant storytelling\, dazzling showmanship\, and songs embedded with both unbridled emotion and quick-fire humor. \n  \nAfter discovering her passion for performing as a little girl\, the Tulsa native later brought her boundless energy and radiant voice to her own unapologetic yet soulful songwriting. When it came time to create her third album\, the Nashville-based musician leaned into her lifelong love of musical theater and dreamed up a modern-day reimagining of the soundtrack to her all-time favorite musical\, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! \n  \nThe result: a high-concept but candidly autobiographical LP called Roadrunner!\, whose 17 powerhouse songs show the full force and extraordinary depth of Butts’ artistry for the very first time. \n  \n“Every summer when I was a kid my parents would take me to see a performance of Oklahoma! at a local amphitheater\, and I’ve felt such a strong connection to it my entire life\,” says Butts\, who first conceptualized Roadrunner! during a pandemic rewatching of the film with her husband\, Flatland Cavalry frontman Cleto Cordero. “It’s a love story\, but there’s also a murder and a little bit of an acid-trippy feel to it at times; it’s set in the same place where I come from. Once I got the idea for this album\, I couldn’t believe I hadn’t thought of it before\, and it turned into something that completely encompasses who I am and what I love.” \n  \nProduced by Oran Thornton (Brent Cobb\, Logan Brill)\, Roadrunner! marks a major tonal shift from Butts’ 2022 sophomore LP What Else Can She Do\, a character-driven exploration of complex matters like addiction\, domestic violence\, and generational trauma. \n  \n“With the last album\, I wanted to write about the struggles I’d seen people go through or experienced myself\, so a lot of the songs had a sadness or darkness to them\,” she says. “I feel like Roadrunner! is much closer to what I’m like onstage\, where there’s real emotion and truth but also humor and a tendency to poke fun. It’s all those different versions of me at once.” \n  \nMade with A-list musicians like multi-instrumentalists Russ Pahl (Sturgill Simpson\, Kacey Musgraves) and Lex Price (Miranda Lambert\, Parker McCollum)\, Roadrunner! ultimately matches that multidimensionality with a lush and fiery sound informed by Butts’ eclectic influences (outlaw country\, strong-minded country-pop\, timeless rock-and-roll\, and more). \n  \nAs Butts reveals\, the making of Roadrunner! served as an essential milestone in her journey as an artist\, allowing for the fullest expression yet of the larger-than-life vision she’s long brought to her work (e.g.\, her cinematic videos\, high-wattage stage presence\, exquisitely curated costumes reflecting her fondness for sequins and fringe). \n  \n“Some artists get up onstage in their T-shirts and jeans and do their thing\, but what comes naturally to me is the drama and going that extra mile to try to create an immersive experience\,” she says. “The more I pull from my musical-theater background\, the more emboldened I am. Making this album showed me that little ideas can grow and take on a life of their own\, and it’s so exciting to know that sticking with my vision can lead to something bigger than I ever even imagined.”

SUMMARY:Foggy Notions presents The Nightingales
DESCRIPTION:In April 2025 the Nightingales released a new album “The Awful Truth” and were due to embark on a UK tour shortly afterwards before a serious illness interjected and fucked up the year’s plans. The album came out via Fire Records who were responsible for the deluxe reissues of the band’s earlier records plus the “King Rocker” movie by Stewart Lee but “The Awful Truth” was the first all new album for the label.Recorded in a remote spot in the old DDR\, the album contains 13 songs produced by the band’s bassist Andreas Schmid and comes packaged in a beautiful sleeve featuring a painting by Tomasso Salini. It is the Nightingales’ first release since September 2023’s “Live In Balsall Heath”\, a (now sold out) limited edition double LP which is an unadulterated 68 minute document of a live show that the ‘Gales played in Birmingham\, augmented by guest musicians\, including sax god Terry Edwards. Following a fairly fallow 2024/25 the glorious Gales are ready to rock n roll afresh in 2026. Now augmented by sublime Brummie super talent Natalie Mason – “The sparkling cherry on the icing of pop music’s tastiest cake” (BBC 6music) – the Fab Five will be banging out a bunch of deadly performances in 2026\, including three special Irish dates in May with comedian Ted Chippington. \n\nTed Chippington avoids observational comedy in favour of anti-humour and jokes which are mostly variations on the same theme\, delivered in his West Midlands monotone. He also frequently performs his own versions of well-known songs in a similarly listless style – and he has been known to leave audiences bemused or hostile \n“A mixture of surrealism and insolent provocation and uncompromising boredom – the first post-alternative comedian” Stewart Lee

SUMMARY:Festival of Voice: Ecstatic Visions
DESCRIPTION:Saint Sister\, Clarissa Connelly\, Hatis Noit\, Rachael Lavelle\nDavid Brophy\, conductor\nFestival of Voice Chorus \nFestival of Voice is a weekend festival celebrating the power\, beauty and universality of the human voice. \nA one-off concert\, four iconoclastic voices come reimagine their songs for voice and choir… United in their innovation Saint Sister\, Clarissa Connolly\, Hatis Noit\, Rachael Lavelle share an interest in the sublime\, creating unique sound worlds with transcendent vocals. \nSaint Sister’s sophomore record Where I Should End was met with critical acclaim\, reaching Top 10 in Ireland & named ‘Best Album’ by the NI Music Prize\, as well as a nomination for ‘Album of the Year’ by Choice Music Prize. Since their formation in 2014\, they’ve toured the world many times with their mesmerising close-knit vocal harmonies and harp\, and shared the stage with The National\, Hozier\, Keane\, Lisa Hannigan\, and Tori Amos. \nDenmark-based Clarissa Connelly first gained international attention with Tech Duinn (2018)\, an hypnotic EP named after a spiritual gateway in Celtic myth. For her most recent album\, The Voyager (2021)\, Clarissa physically walked the Scandinavian landscape\, channelling melodies from ancient pre-Christian sites. The listener is invited on an inner journey that is by turns hushed and ecstatic. \nJapanese artist Hatis Noit is a Japanese vocal performer hailing from distant Shiretoko in Hokkaido who now resides in London. Her accomplished range is astonishingly self-taught\, inspired by everything she could find from Gagaku — Japanese classical music — and operatic styles\, Bulgarian and Gregorian chanting\, to avant-garde and pop vocalists. \nRachael Lavelle’s debut album Big Dreams was released last year to widespread acclaim and nominated for the Choice Music Prize for Best Album. Big Dreams is an existential coming-of-age album that chronicles the journey of a young woman searching for direction and meaning in a very strange world. Inspired by sounds of everyday life and an intriguing obsession with YouTube self-help videos\, the album explores romance\, directionless-ness\, ambition and the expectations of the unsatisfied digital native. \nPresented by NCH and supported by IPUT Real Estate Dublin

SUMMARY:Pôt-pot
DESCRIPTION:Pôt-pot are an Irish quintet based in Lisbon\, Portugal. The band infuse the propulsive rhythms of krautrock with a phosphorescent psych-rock radiance\, all underscored by harmonium drones\, hypnotic vocal harmonies\, and layers of rough-hewn texture. They deal in deep grooves and cooking listeners to completion. \nThey released their debut EP Ode To A in 2023\, earning it a spot on The Thin Air’s “Best of 2023” list. “Ode To A succeeds not just in the artistic practice of the avant-garde\, but as piece of an engaging\, genuinely psychedelic experimental drone rock” – Stevie Lennox\, The Thin Air. In April 2024\, they released their second EP “GOING INSANE” on cult Porto based label Socorro\, with a limited vinyl run via Ireland’s beloved Blowtorch Records\, receiving much critical acclaim. \n2024-2025 has been a busy period for pôt-pot\, selling out shows across Ireland\, UK and Portugal as well as support slots with MELTS (Fuz Club) and a series of sold-out shows in Vicar St.\, Dublin with The Mary Wallopers. In mid 2025\, the band signed with LA-based Felte Records\, with whom they’ll release their debut album “Warsaw 480km” in September 2025. \nEvolved primarily from demos by multi-instrumentalist and lead vocalist Mark Waldron-Hyden during a period of grief and personal upheaval\, “Warsaw 480km” came to life through a series of live\, full-band studio sessions that document an exceptional array of talents\, unified in an embrace of raw catharsis that transforms deep pain into a luminous reverie
