DESCRIPTION:Swapmeet is a 4-piece band from South Australia composed of Venus O’Broin (guitar\, vocals)\, Joshua Doherty (bass)\, Maxwell Elphick (guitar\, drums\, vocals)\, and Jack Medlyn (guitar\, drums\, vocals). \nHaving recently caught the ear of American indie label Winspear\, the band is readying their debut album and offering a taste of the newmaterial with “I Know!”\, a cathartic and buoyant debut single for their new label home. \nRevved up with gleaming\, fuzzy guitars and energetic percussion\, the new track blurs jangle pop\, shoegaze\, and alt-rock with tongue-in-cheek precision. The group met as teenagers in the early 2020s while playing in various projects around the Adelaide music scene and bonded over their love of 90s alternative. \nThey soon started writing music together and released their debut single in late 2023 and quickly returned with their debut EP\, Oxalis\, in mid-2024. Now\, the band has started moving out of local pub gigs and into big venues\, opening for international touring artists across the whole of Australia\, and recently won the Emerging Artist & Best Performance Award at SXSW Sydney for their charismatic live show.

DESCRIPTION:With the humble beginning of a demo showcasing his first moments picking up a guitar and finding his voice in 2019\, longtime experimental music composer Drew Collins stepped into the next phase of his songwriting career as Sundots. \nJoined by familiar faces of the Connecticut DIY scene\, friends Jake Fucci\, Austin Traver\, and Nick Restivo have been a fundamental part of the band’s journey in translating their bedroom ‘studio’ songs to a live setting. \nThe music combines the feelings from freak-folk and ambient to slowcore and indie-rock in a way that comes across as both sincere and playful. Many of the songs showcase Drew’s heart on his sleeve\, with an almost stream-of-consciousness approach to lyric writing. ‘Honeyspot’\, the band’s most recent record from 2024\, displayed a newly refined direction while reflecting on themes of youth\, maturity\, love\, and fantasy. \nPaying homage to the previously mentioned demo tape\, appropriately named ‘room’\, Drew has a collection of five more solo recordings on the way due sometime this summer.

DESCRIPTION:In 2024\, Bec O’Malley went on a hike in the Peak District with his friends. He’d taken his acoustic guitar with him and decided to film a quick video of him covering Dylan Gossett’s ‘Coal’ while out on the misty paths. In the short clip\, the young musician forgets the words a few lines in\, but there was something about it that connected with those who saw it on their algorithm. Perhaps it was the unpolished charm of the video – mistake left in\, cut off before he could try again – or his resonant vocals that hit in even just a few seconds\, or a combination of the two. The likes quickly poured in\, more so than for any other video he’d posted on TikTok before\, igniting interest in this unknown talent. \nO’Malley’s name may have been undiscovered when that video was posted\, but by that point\, he’d already been playing music and writing his own songs for years. Growing up in Stockport\, he first picked up a guitar aged 12\, learning the basics from his cousin and fleshing out the rest from YouTube tutorials. A few years later\, his interest turned from simply playing others’ creations to working on his own\, first in bands with school friends\, and then on his own. Along the way\, his sound evolved\, pulling in new influences and building the foundations for the music he makes today. “I was doing the indie stuff for so long\, and I was just getting bored of it\,” he explains. “I started listening to more of the modern side of country – Zach Bryan\, Morgan Wallen\, those guys – and it just revamped it in my head.” \n  \nRather than jumping on the bandwagon of the surging popularity of country music in the UK\, the genre is something that’s always been around O’Malley. He comes from an Irish family where music was always playing around the house and at family gatherings\, and “they’d always play all the country music – a bit of American country\, Irish country”. \nThe 23-year-old’s material\, though\, is a balance – one that draws from a world of Nashville skylines and pick-up trucks\, but also from his lived experience in the UK. Instead of parodying the language and topics of his American counterparts\, he puts his reality front and centre\, writing about things he and the people around him have seen or been through. “You don’t see many trucks around here\,” he laughs. “It just wouldn’t feel right to [copy US country] – it’d feel like role play.” It’s an approach he sees as having a unique allure to it: “No one in the States is going to sing it from a perspective that I’d sing it from.” \nSonically\, too\, he merges two disparate parts – country and indie – and\, rather than be seen as someone predominantly in one lane\, he wants to be known for his distinctive blend of them both. A love for The La’s\, Sam Fender and Oasis have fuelled the indie side of his writing\, with the latter band in particular having a huge impact on him – not just musically\, but in attitude and ambition\, too. The Gallaghers’ hometown of Burnage is just down the road from Stockport\, and their influence seeped into O’Malley’s surroundings early on. “You see Oasis and how big they got when they’re from just down the road\, and it’s like\, ‘If they can do it\, why can’t I?’” he reasons. \nWhile posting on social media\, O’Malley also built up his following and learned his craft the old-fashioned way\, too. During his university course in Liverpool\, he’d return to Manchester on weekends to play in the city’s Irish bars\, sometimes playing multiple sets in a day. Those venues proved the perfect performance classrooms as he battled rowdy crowds and learned how to get them on his side. “Sometimes you’ll get people who are quiet\, but then as the night goes on\, everyone gets a bit more pissed and scream and shout\,” he says. “We’ve learned how to deal with them – and have a night with them\, as well.” \nSince those days\, he’s been invited to play at Manchester’s Neighbourhood Festival\, support Weston Lonely and was scheduled to support Jeff Lynne’s ELO at their farewell show at BST Hyde Park\, until Lynne’s medical issues meant the gig had to be scrapped (more high profile bookings are set for 2026\, with appearances at State Fayre\, Kendall Calling\, Country Calling Festival and Highways’ Songwriters Round at Royal Albert Hall in the offing). By November 2025\, O’Malley had booked – and sold out – his first headline gig at Manchester’s famed Deaf Institute. These bookings would be impressive for any emerging artist\, but become even more so when you consider that they all came without O’Malley releasing a single song. \nFor a long time\, the rising artist’s tagline has been “singer with no songs out” – a slogan that gets more powerful when witnessed beneath ever-growing follower counts. Soon\, though\, that line will have to change – first\, following the release of his debut single\, ‘Let You Go’\, and later\, with the arrival of his first EP. “It’s the end of an era – although I might just change it to ‘singer with one song’. When the Grammy comes\, I’ll just say ‘singer with a Grammy’\,” he quips. \nAlthough only just officially released\, ‘Let You Go’ has already had a big impact on O’Malley’s journey. The first video he posted online of him playing the track was the first clip of original material to really take off\, racking up over 900\,000 views. Every day since\, users have asked him when he’s releasing it. \nAs a first single\, it captures the heart of O’Malley’s songwriting – inventive storytelling that’s woven into a sound that feels both familiar and fresh\, all delivered in his gravelly northern drawl. “I’d be crazy to ever let you go\,” he sings\, a line that’s spurred fans on to use the track in wedding videos. In reality\, the track takes on the perspective of a stalker\, detailing their thoughts as they watch from afar. \n‘Let You Go’ highlights the storytelling that sits at the core of O’Malley’s engaging lyricism\, something he grew into on a writing trip to Nashville. “When I was first writing songs\, I was all about melody\,” he explains. “Getting more involved in the country scene makes you think about words more\, and I spent a bit of time out in Nashville\, and they’re all so clever with lyrics and how the story flows from start to finish. It made me love the story side of it.” \n‘Two People Talking’\, a stomping earworm rich in detail\, picks up on another angle of that way of writing – rather than putting the musician in someone else’s shoes\, it twists his personal experiences into a tale shot through with wise takeaways. “Hearts get broke when hopes get higher\,” he warns at one point. “It’s saying\, ‘Don’t get your hopes up too high because it’s not happened yet’\,” O’Malley says. The mellower ‘See It From Here’\, meanwhile\, paints a picture of romantic sunsets and peaceful road trips. \nAs O’Malley properly kickstarts his path and becomes a singer with some songs out\, he’s keen to maintain the balance he’s already found: “I love the stripped back side of music where it can just be a fiddle\, guitar and some vocals\, but then I love the poppy side of things too\, so it’s about finding a good middle ground. I don’t know where it’s gonna go\, but it’s about putting out the songs that feel the most me and seeing what happens.” One thing that is certain\, though\, is that he’s driving forward with an unlimited sense of ambition. “The goal is to be the biggest artist\,” he says confidently. “I just want to play big shows.” With songs as strong as the ones in his arsenal\, reaching the big heights seems inevitable.

Across the ten tracks that make up the seventh and newest Widowspeak record\, intimate spaces and stages of love are captured with a nostalgic\, vaseline-coated lens.  Candles burn inside red glass as lovers get close in a leather booth. Celebrity headshots gaze down like angels in a restaurant.  Elsewhere\, carnations are pressed in a black book and dancers pull each other close. Widowspeak is a band that riffs on big emotions without being too self-serious. \nThe sweetness\, even silliness\, of an extended limerent phase that becomes as all-consuming as a pulpy trade paperback. Cars and their drivers serve as a way to talk about codependency. And old love gets worn in\, soft as an old t-shirt.  If music can simultaneously be naturalistic and noir\, saturated and lush\, that is Widowspeak.  They’re a band that knows how to set a scene.

Before bringing his fifth solo LP to life\, the Gaslight Anthem frontman returned to the fatalistic love songs that rewired his brain as a child—moody radio mainstays authored by rock icons deep into their second act\, voiced by wild-eyed dreamers he alternately refers to as “beautiful losers” and “desperate lunatics.” As he assembled a set of songs populated by characters who love too hard and risk too much\, Fallon built up a body of work that charges forward with a reckless momentum: the singular internal motion of someone who’s been knocked off course more than once but still chooses to believe\, refusing to surrender to cynicism’s easy gravity. \nProduced by his repeat collaborator Butch Walker (Green Day\, Jesse Malin)\, Not Bad for New Jersey features guest spots from Brandon Flowers of The Killers\, Def Leppard guitarist Phil Collen\, avant-garde guitar legend Marc Ribot\, and folk/country luminary Lori McKenna. Through a series of freewheeling sessions with Walker (who handled bass\, piano\, backing vocals\, and more) and Dr. Dog drummer Eric Slick\, Fallon summoned a frenetic collision of power-pop and heartland rock\, arriving at a perfect sonic counterpart to the album’s hot-blooded sincerity. “From the beginning I knew I had to fully lean into the passion and lunacy of all these songs I felt inspired by—there wasn’t much room for subtlety\,” says Fallon\, naming Bryan Adams’ “Run to You” and The Police’s “Every Breath You Take” among his touchstones for the LP. Mostly tracked live at Walker’s studio near Nashville\, Not Bad for New Jersey ultimately reveals an artist driven by the same rapturous abandon that animates his storytelling. “There was so much childlike joy in writing and recording all these songs\,” says Fallon. “The whole album came together so naturally\, with a level of creative fulfillment I hadn’t experienced in a very long time.”

In 2019 MASTER BOOT RECORD settled with Metal Blade Records\, the historic metal label based in Los Angeles to release the latest two albums “Floppy Disk Overdrive (2020)” and “Personal Computer (2022)” helping the project to gain increased popularity worldwide. MBR has also produced the video game “VirtuaVerse” as well as its original soundtrack. VirtuaVerse was released in 2020 on all gaming platforms as well as Nintendo Switch\, Xbox and Playstation. The project as a live band increased their live activity in 2022 including live performing artists such as the guitar virtuoso and Ibanez endorser Edoardo Taddei at lead guitars and technical death metal drummer Giulio Galati. \n MBR released 14 albums so far with multiple record labels and has been one of the most successful musicians on US digital distribution platform Bandcamp charting #1 in general charts several times. Because of that Bandcamp often featured the albums and made interviews directly with the artist. \nThe rapid growth of the project sparked an intense live activity with several tours in Europe and North American as well as participating to festivals such as Super Mag Fest (USA)\, Resurrection Fest (Spain)\, Brutal Assault (Czech Republic)\, Wacken Open Air (Germany)\, Baroeg Open Air (Netherlands)\, Resistanz Festival (UK)\, SWR Fest (Portugal)\, Frantic Fest (Italy).  \nIn 2024–2025\, MASTER BOOT RECORD expanded globally with the release of “Hardwarez” (Metal Blade Records\, October 2024)\, followed by an extensive world tour across North America\, Canada\, the UK\, and Europe between September and November 2024\, totaling more than 40 shows. \nThe band recently toured as support for the french electronic metal band Igorrr across Europe and is confirmed to perform at more European festival such as Brutal Assault\, Mystic Festival\, Motocultor\, Arc Tangent and more to be announced. \nThe plans for 2026 include a full North American tour in Spring and a full European / UK tour during the fall that are ready for announcement. \n  \nABOUT FULCI: Fulci is the death metal band named after the “Godfather of gore” Lucio Fulci. The band combines the two\nthings they like the most: horror movies and death metal. \nLucio Fulci films had a strong influence on the aesthetics of extreme music. Fulci’s intent is to pay homage to the maestro by creating concept albums based on his films. The band released three discs till now\, some of which have reached their 6th reissue. We did four USA tours as headliners plus several festivals and apparitions in Europe and South Africa. In 2023 we released a live session in Tampa\, Florida at the Morrisound Studios where American death metal was born. in 2024 will be released our 4th album via 20 Buck Spin Records. Fulci live shows try to resemble cinematic experiences through video projections\, lights\, synthesizers and horror staging. \nIn September 2023 we played a show in a movie theatre presenting our first short movie and soundtrack release. We have a regular collaboration with the fashion brand Slam Jam to develop events\, products and performances. We have a strong fanbase and among others we have been mentioned by Max Cavalera\, Eli Roth and Dwid Helion. KERRANG! Magazine gave us the 35th place on the chart of the 50 bands that have revitalized death metal over the past 10 years.

DESCRIPTION:Originally formed on Long Island\, New York in 2000\, Car Bomb is a band whose style is marked by a highly experimental and extremely aggressive approach to metal. Their unpredictable blend of evolving polyrhythms\, shifting tempos\, syncopated down-tuned guitars\, jazz-influenced drumming\, harmonically deconstructive riffing\, and dynamic vocals create a sound that is pulverizingly heavy and intensely disorienting. They create music that is fluid and ever changing\, and are not afraid of veering off on bold melodic tangents. This unique sound combined with a strong DIY work ethic and a continuously growing fan base has earned them the opportunity to tour with larger acts in the genre. \nCar Bomb released their debut album Centralia on Relapse Records in 2007\, and supported the record on US tours with High on Fire in 2008 and Gojira in 2009. They self-released their second album w^w^^w^w (pronounced “w-click-w” or “the waveform album”) in 2012. It featured guest vocals by Joseph Duplantier of Gojira\, whom they’d again tour with later that year. In 2014\, Car Bomb was invited to tour Europe for the first time\, opening up for Meshuggah on their 25th anniversary tour. \nCar Bomb released their third album Meta in the fall of 2016\, which again featured Joseph Duplantier who this time also shared a co-production credit with Greg Kubacki. The album also features Frank Mullen of Suffocation and was mixed by Josh Wilbur (Korn\, Megadeth\, Lamb of God\, Parkway Drive). The band kicked off the release with shows supporting Gojira and Tesseract as well as opening for The Dillinger Escape Plan on their farewell US tour. In early 2017\, Car Bomb headed back to Europe/UK opening up for Gojira. The band then headlined their own European tour in September before returning to the US in October to support Animals as Leaders and Periphery. \nThe band is currently headquartered at Silvercord Studios in Brooklyn\, New York

Hailing from San Francisco\, Filipino-American artist April Harper Grey started making music as underscores in middle school\, when years of noodling around on GarageBand culminated in the realization that\, if taken seriously enough\, this whole “trying to be like Skrillex” thing might amount to something great. \nFor years\, underscores released a steady stream of one-offs via SoundCloud\, which endeared her to like minded artists and a burgeoning community of fans\, but it wasn’t until 2017\, with the release of EP skin purifying treatment\, that the project stepped out of its solitary origins and began to capture the attention of a much larger audience. In 2021\, underscores released the debut underscores album\, fishmonger\, which was written and recorded in that same childhood bedroom amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. \nThat collection launched underscores from recording vocals in a car to opening for 100 Gecs on the U.S. leg of the 10\,000 Gecs tour. Before hitting the road\, underscores released yet another collection\, boneyard aka fearmonger\, a collection of seven tracks that manages to sound like both the climax of and the morning after the craziest night of your life. \nShe then debuted “Count of three (You can eat $#@!)” – co-written with Dylan Brady (of 100 Gecs)\, Cashmere Cat\, Benny Blanco – on 100 Gecs’ Dog Show Records. Since dropping boneyard aka fearmonger\, she’s produced music for Alice Longyu Gao\, glaive\, Whethan\, and renforshort. \nThe world eagerly awaited the next underscores record\, Wallsocket in 2023 and have now been served with underscores’ latest record U which came out in March 2026. This will be supported by the GALLERIA European Chapter.

That is\, after all\, underscores’s ethos: “When people listen to underscores\, I want their initial reaction to be\, ‘This is ridiculous.’ But the more they listen to it\, they should hear the nuance in it\, the heaviness in it\, and I hope they connect with it on some kind of emotional level. The ultimate goal is to turn people off\, then win them back.”
