She rose to critical acclaim from her debut album First Prize Bravery\, which was an evocative depiction of young adulthood\, a time during which she ventured from home in Dublin to New York\, Los Angeles and back again. Her follow up album Smiling Like an Idiot cemented her status as one of Ireland’s most revered songwriters and saw her tour North America\, Europe and Australia\, both as a headliner and as a special guest for artists such as Snow Patrol\, Mitski and Dermot Kennedy. \nShe returns this September 2026 with her third album\, Draw The Outline. Made after relocating to West Kerry\, it’s her most intimate and reflective record to date – trading synth-led textures for acoustic guitar\, woodwinds\, saxophone\, Hammond organ and piano\, and turning her gaze inward. \nBrigid Mae Power (27th August)\n \nBrigid Mae Power’s music never quite settles on solid ground. Her albums blend traditional folk and country into something that feels both personal and wide-reaching. \nHer most recent record\, Songs for You\, is a heartfelt collection of covers dedicated to her father\, reworking songs by Roy Orbison\, Tom Verlaine\, Neil Young and Cass McCombs into something minimal\, intimate and entirely her own. \nEfé (24th September)\n \nEFÉ is an Irish artist hailing from Dublin. EFÉ released her debut EP What Should We Do This Summer in October 2020 which was recorded in her bedroom with the help of her friends. Her music is a sunny slice of bedroom pop\, evoking images of blue skies on a summer’s day using shimmering synth pads and funky\, modulated guitar tones. EFÉ sets herself apart from other artists with the unique and playful groove that provides the grounding for her DIY style\, and definitely marks her as one to watch from the emerging Irish scene. As she puts it\, “In earlier projects I was scared to go full force with the rock sound\, but this year I thought\, let me just do it.” \nSaoirse Miller (29th October)\n \nSaoirse Miller is a Dublin-based singer-songwriter and producer whose music is rooted in Irish folklore and mythology and a lifelong fascination with the otherworldly. Her sound – spanning experimental folk\, ambient textures and ethereal vocal production – is less about genre and more about world-building\, creating somewhere else entirely to disappear into. \nInfluenced by Florence and the Machine\, Grouper\, Lisa O’Neill and the poetry of W.B. This saw the members involved in various ventures including musical groups The Whileaways and ALDOC\, Gráda’s sound is rooted in trad\, while drawing influences from folk\, jazz\, world music and Americana. The band’s live shows exude energy\, with an improvisation element that made them unique within the trad music world. The repertoire is seeded with original songs and instrumentals that have captured the imaginations of audiences all around the world.

Inspired by the tours that have taken him far beyond his adopted home of Nashville\, it’s the sound of a road warrior who’s grown all too familiar with the highs\, lows\, and heartbreaks that pave the long road out of town. He writes poignantly about a life spent on the move\, bouncing between solo songs and full-band performances. For a songwriter who first hit the road as an infant — back when his Bosnian refugee parents moved the family to Florida\, determined to find a better life for their children — Making A Livin’ (Not a Killin’) is Leon’s most honest album to date\, fueled equally by melody and momentum. \n  \n“The road is calling; don’t leave the light on\,” he sings during the first track\, delivering the line to all the people and places he’s left behind in the rearview mirror. That’s uncharted territory for Leon\, and it’s proof that even the most seasoned travelers deserve to explore new places once in a while. \n“I’ve always occupied the folky side of country music\, or the country side of folk\,” he says\, nodding to previous releases like 2020’s Back ’Til I’m Gone\, 2024’s self-titled Leon Majcen\, and 2025’s Better Days. “For years\, I’ve felt most at home when it’s just me and my acoustic guitar. But this record is a pivot. It’s a bigger sound with more layers\, more intent\, and a real producer. It just feels right.” \nThe producer he’s referencing is multi-instrumentalist Pat Lyons. Celebrated for his work with Americana mainstays like Colter Wall\, Lyons became a mentor to Leon during his first year in Nashville\, back when he was struggling to balance his songwriting career with a long series of day jobs. Leon worked in offices. He worked outside\, using his hands. Eventually\, with Pat’s encouragement\, he embraced the troubadour lifestyle\, dedicating himself to the stage\, the road\, and the writing room. Working with a small rhythm section\, the two collaborators recorded Making A Livin’ (Not a Killin’) during a pair of whirlwind days\, leaning heavily on live performances and Leon’s strength as a stage performer. They also teamed up with Riley Downing (of The Deslondes) for “Tallahassee\,” a duet steeped in the influence of New Orleans. The result is an album about tour stops\, roadside revelations\, and the lessons learned at 75 miles per hour. \nThere are more shows on the horizon. More songs to write. More fishing holes to track down. Leon is part of the Cloverdale family now — a record label and musical collective overseen by Evan Honer\, another Gen Z songwriter who uses folk music as a launchpad for a more expansive sound. And if the road truly goes on forever\, then he’s ready to run it down. This is how Leon makes a living\, and right now\, life is good.

DESCRIPTION:Serving as a spiritual continuation of the now-defunct Sprain\, Shearling exhibits the reunion of a now decade-old collaborative force between guitarists Alexander Kent and Sylvie Simmons. A subsequent recruiting of percussionist Andrew Chanover\, bassist Wesley Nelson\, and keyboardist Elizabeth Carver filled out their orchestrally-minded roster. The band was mostly quiet for its first year of existence\, avoiding live performances to instead focus on their brazen debut ‘Motherfucker\, I am Both: “Amen” and “Hallelujah”…’ \nThe record retains Sprain’s characteristic commitment to intensity\, further mutated through a newfound lens of collagist approach. Featuring only a single\, hour-plus long song\, Motherfucker is a demanding exhibition of uncompromising ethos. Shearling’s aggressive live performances and meticulous recordings demonstrate an ambition\, audacity\, and emotional vulnerability that few contemporary bands can parallel.
