SUMMARY:Freya Ridings
DESCRIPTION:Since breaking through with Top 10 single ‘Lost Without You’ back in 2017\, Ridings has cemented herself as one of the UK’s most impressive vocal talents\, with the ability to turn her hand to tender balladry and powerful air punch moments alike. That break out single has\, to date\, been streamed almost half a billion times on Spotify alone\, while 2019’s self-titled debut album and 2023 follow-up Blood Orange both landed in the Top 10 of the UK Album Charts\, sending Ridings around the world and landing her a BRIT nomination for Best Female Solo Artist. \nGoing into her third album – set for release in May 2026 -Freya Ridings is not the same artist she was before. She’s had to reach down into the depths and find reserves that she didn’t know she had\, and in doing so\, she’s tapped into a rich seam of anger and wisdom and womanhood that feels as timely now as it ever was. \nAs she says\, “Getting to create\, sing and play these songs and have them exist in the real world\, that feels like winning to me.”

SUMMARY:Headsend
DESCRIPTION:Hailing from Byron Bay\, Australia\, this three-piece outfit\, consisiting of Rasmus King (vocals/guitar)\, Kyuss King (bass)\, and Bon Soric (drums) has quickly built a formidable reputation through relentless live performance\, playing over 40 shows in 2025 before releasing a single track. \nThat early momentum translated into a landmark global record deal with American/Republic\, Polydor\, and EMI/Universal Australia\, all secured prior to any official releases. In November 2025\, they introduced their sound with debut single “Stove\,” followed closely by “Chugg.” “Stove” was recorded with renowned producer Nick DiDia (Pearl Jam\, Rage Against The Machine)\, mixed by Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys\, The 1975)\, and mastered by Steve Fallone\, setting a high bar for their recorded output. On the live circuit\, the band has already shared stages with major international acts\, serving as main support for Wunderhorse’s Australian theatre tour in September 2025\, joining Tool on their arena tour across Australia and New Zealand later that year\, and opening for AC/DC at their Brisbane stadium shows in December. Beyond music\, frontman Rasmus King and bassist Kyuss King are also accomplished professional surfers\, having been sponsored by Vans for over a decade.

SUMMARY:The Songs of Jeff Buckley
DESCRIPTION:More than two decades after his untimely death\, Jeff Buckley remains one of the most captivating and influential figures in modern music history. His singular studio album Grace has long transcended cult status\, becoming a global touchstone for artists and audiences across generations and borders. \nIn celebration of Grace\, The Songs of Jeff Buckley will be performed by Slow Pilot at 3Olympia Theatre\, Dublin on Sunday 6th September 2026. \n\n\nToday\, Buckley’s legacy continues to grow and resonate internationally\, inspiring new listeners while remaining deeply meaningful to those who have carried his music with them for years. \nThat renewed global attention has been further intensified by the recent release of the acclaimed documentary It’s Never Over\, Jeff Buckley\, which has reignited worldwide fascination with his life\, his voice\, and his artistic depth. The ongoing attention around Buckley once again highlights what fans have always known. His music remains emotionally powerful\, fragile\, and strikingly relevant. \nBelgian band Slow Pilot bring Jeff Buckley’s music to the stage with the deepest respect and musical precision. As far as we know\, they are the only band worldwide capable of awakening the true soul\, mystery\, and magic of his work. The voice of singer Pieter Peirsman comes so close to Buckley’s that it becomes almost unsettling. Grace is performed in its entirety\, honoring the album’s raw beauty\, emotional intensity\, and timeless songwriting\, followed by a selection of additional songs that further reveal Buckley’s range and expressive depth. \nFor the countless fans who have never seen him live\, this is an excellent second chance. For others\, it is the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the powerful musical legacy he left behind.

SUMMARY:Qween and The Dublin Gospel Choir
DESCRIPTION:Qween and Dublin Gospel Choir have announced a Dublin show at 3Olympia Theatre on Friday 4th September 2026. \n  \n\n\nFormed in 2018 by a group of seasoned performers\, Qween is an Irish tribute band dedicated to meticulously recreating the theatrical magic and “essence” of a classic Queen concert through microscopic detail\, using everything from period-correct sixpences as guitar picks to iconic custom costumes. \nTheir rapid rise in popularity saw them selling out major venues across Ireland and making history in 2023 as the first tribute act to play the main stage at the Forever Young Festival following successful collaborations with artists like Tony Hadley and Mark Shaw. \nBy drafting the Dublin Gospel Choir in 2022\, the band successfully bridged the gap between Queen’s raw live energy and their complex studio arrangements\, culminating in massive landmark performances such as a sold-out show for 3\,000 fans at King John’s Castle. Despite their professional success\, the group faced a significant personal challenge in late 2023 when lead singer Brian Keville was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer; however\, the band and the wider community rallied together through viral fundraising efforts supported by various celebrities to aid his recovery and celebrate his life-long passion for performance. \n“I’m grateful that fans and musical friends alike jumped on board. We had the biggest gig of our lives\, and this helped me get fit again\, so it was especially memorable\,” said vocalist Brian Keville. \nHis return to the stage and the band’s story was documented by the RTÉ The Great Pretenders documentary which was has been broadcast several times since its premiere in December 2024. \n “The documentary was great at explaining why musicians do this and showed that can’t really land it with an audience unless you give yourself over entirely to it” adds Brunkard. \n “Bigger stages are a challenge but we’re playing Queen and Queen’s music can engage a festival of 10\,000 or one million and we’ll keep focusing on recreating that power as much as we can” said Brunkard.

SUMMARY:Sent Off by Seánie Harte An Exhibition of Roy Keane’s Red Cards at Hen’s Teeth
DESCRIPTION:Hen’s Teeth is delighted to announce the launch of Sent Off\,  a limited two day exhibition depicting Roy Keane’s red cards by Seánie Harte at their Blackpitts space\, on the 3rd and 4th September. \nThe show brings together 16 original oil pastel works (16\, for the number Keane’s jersey) exploring one of Irish football’s most talked-about moments in Keane’s career: the red cards picked up during his time playing for both Manchester United and Ireland. \n \nWorking with oil pastel on both wood panel and paper – Harte builds each piece from an initial sketch through to the finished work. The exhibition includes multiple pieces built around single moments\, including a group of works centred on Keane’s tackle on Alf-Inge Håland\, alongside earlier and more recent additions to the series\, some of which have never been shown publicly before. \nSent Off is Seánie’s first solo exhibition and in his words: \n“Football already means so much to people\, so hopefully this exhibition can act as a gateway to art for supporters who might not normally visit an art exhibition. I’d love to see more football and art crossing over in Ireland\, and if this helps in some small way\, that would be brilliant.” \nAll works in the exhibition are original\, framed pieces available for purchase throughout its run at Hen’s Teeth. After the show closes\, remaining works can be purchased directly through Seánie Harte. \nExhibition details\n\nDuration: \n6pm-11pm\, 3rd September\n8am – 3pm\, 4th September \nDoors from 6pm – 11pm \nWhere:  \nHen’s Teeth\, Blackpitts\, Dublin 8\, D08A9FD \nWhat: \n16 original works\, oil pastel on wood panel and paper \nPrices:  \nRanging from approx. €500–€750\, including frames by Sumi Studio \n\nAbout the Seánie Harte\nSeánie Harte is a Dublin-based artist working primarily in oil pastel. Inspired by football\, Irish popular culture and sporting nostalgia\, his work captures the moments and memories that continue to resonate long after the final whistle has blown. \n \nAbout Hen’s Teeth\nHen’s Teeth creates contemporary cultural experiences from Blackpitts in Dublin 8. The crew has got a love for art\, music\, food and culture and the space where they all come together – whether that’s through their own gallery & event space or for some of the interesting folks and brands that they collaborate with across the world. The tour visits such stops as Belvedere College\, the Gresham Hotel\, the James Joyce Statue\, Davy Byrnes\, and the National Library.\n\nThis is an excellent and fun introduction to Joyce in a bustling part of the city.\n\nThe James Joyce Centre offers two tours: Introducing Joyce’s Dublin and Footsteps of Leopold Bloom.\n\nEvery Thursday\, Friday & Saturday at 11 am. Duration 2 hours.\n\nAdmission to the James Joyce Centre is included. \nThe James Joyce Centre is supported by the Department of Culture\, Communications and Sport.
