She rose to critical acclaim from her debut album First Prize Bravery\, which was an evocative depiction of young adulthood\, a time during which she ventured from home in Dublin to New York\, Los Angeles and back again. Her follow up album Smiling Like an Idiot cemented her status as one of Ireland’s most revered songwriters and saw her tour North America\, Europe and Australia\, both as a headliner and as a special guest for artists such as Snow Patrol\, Mitski and Dermot Kennedy. \nShe returns this September 2026 with her third album\, Draw The Outline. Made after relocating to West Kerry\, it’s her most intimate and reflective record to date – trading synth-led textures for acoustic guitar\, woodwinds\, saxophone\, Hammond organ and piano\, and turning her gaze inward. \nBrigid Mae Power (27th August)\n \nBrigid Mae Power’s music never quite settles on solid ground. The Irish singer-songwriter sits between past and present\, between traditional and modern forms\, between the heaven in her voice and the earthbound epiphanies of her words. There’s something distinctively Irish in her sound\, delivered with a freshness and emotional rawness that feels entirely her own. \nShe’s released three albums to date\, including her acclaimed 2022 record Head Above the Water\, which was Rough Trade’s Album of the Month and earned praise from Pitchfork\, Mojo\, Uncut\, The Guardian and The Irish Times. Her albums blend traditional folk and country into something that feels both personal and wide-reaching. \nHer most recent record\, Songs for You\, is a heartfelt collection of covers dedicated to her father\, reworking songs by Roy Orbison\, Tom Verlaine\, Neil Young and Cass McCombs into something minimal\, intimate and entirely her own. \nEfé (24th September)\n \nEFÉ is an Irish artist hailing from Dublin. EFÉ released her debut EP What Should We Do This Summer in October 2020 which was recorded in her bedroom with the help of her friends. Her music is a sunny slice of bedroom pop\, evoking images of blue skies on a summer’s day using shimmering synth pads and funky\, modulated guitar tones. EFÉ sets herself apart from other artists with the unique and playful groove that provides the grounding for her DIY style\, and definitely marks her as one to watch from the emerging Irish scene. Her music is effortlessly nostalgic\, pulling on indie-tinged memories of the late 1990s and early 2000s. \nAfter signing to US label Fader; home to artists such as Clairo – she leaned further into her rock influences for her most recent single releases in 2024\, Truth Truth\, 2000Seven and you say that I’m crazy\, lo-fi indie tracks that make space for guitars to soar. As she puts it\, “In earlier projects I was scared to go full force with the rock sound\, but this year I thought\, let me just do it.” \nSaoirse Miller (29th October)\n \nSaoirse Miller is a Dublin-based singer-songwriter and producer whose music is rooted in Irish folklore and mythology and a lifelong fascination with the otherworldly. Her sound – spanning experimental folk\, ambient textures and ethereal vocal production – is less about genre and more about world-building\, creating somewhere else entirely to disappear into. \nInfluenced by Florence and the Machine\, Grouper\, Lisa O’Neill and the poetry of W.B. Yeats\, Saoirse writes songs that transform personal feeling into something mythic. Her connection to place runs deep – her grandparents are from Mizen Head in West Cork\, and it’s a landscape she returns to again and again\, in her music as much as in life. \nHer debut EP\, Birds\, was written and produced entirely by Saoirse herself\, with each track designed to blend and interlude into the next as one continuous body of work. Mixed and mastered to tape by Karl Barnes\, Birds channels Irish traditional music and folklore through an electroacoustic lens\, resulting in a sound that feels both faded and familiar. \nAbout Laura Twagirayezu\nRwandan-born and Dublin-based\, Laura is a curator\, DJ and cultural connector whose work consistently brings depth and warmth to questions of music\, identity and community. Whether she’s hosting her own Lobby Lectures series\, curating listening events through her gallery UMUTI:MA\, or moving between Afrobeats\, Amapiano\, Soul and R&B in the DJ booth – she understands music as a lens. 6 Tracks is a natural home for that kind of conversation. \nAbout Sally Cinnamon\nSally Cinnamon is one of Dublin’s most well known DJs\, a fixture of Dublin’s nightlife since 2001. Her sets are genre-spanning by design\, moving fluidly between afrobeat\, techno and dubstep\, with a strong undercurrent of retro and psychedelic sound that gives her selections a relatability for all. She has also turned her hand to presenting\, hosting the Hennessy Sound Lounge\, where she interviewed Irish artists including David Kitt\, Pillow Queens\, Vivienne Dick and BP Fallon about the records that shaped their work. \nAbout Hen’s Teeth\nHen’s Teeth creates contemporary cultural experiences from Blackpitts in Dublin 8. DESCRIPTION:Due to phenomenal demand Prostitute’s Irish Debut has been upgraded to Workman’s Club on Monday 24th August. All existing tickets remain valid and final tickets on sale now. \nFormed in 2020 in Dearborn\, Michigan\, Prostitute is an experimental post-punk and Arab rock band. Born out of the isolation of the COVID-19 lockdown\, the band’s debut album\, Attempted Martyr\, was written in the midst of global and personal turmoil\, capturing the zeitgeist of a world unraveling. A loose concept record\, it chronicles the rise and fall of a doomed zealot whose pursuit of holy vengeance spirals into a psychotic orgy of violence\, greed\, and lust. \nThe band was initially formed by Moe Kazra who enlisted childhood friends Andrew Kaster and Dylan Zaranski\, with Ross Babinski and Bret Wall later completing the lineup. DESCRIPTION:The Swedish singer-songwriter troubadour Kristian Matsson\, better known as The Tallest Man on Earth has a rare talent for captivating an audience with just his raw\, grainy voice and a guitar. He plays various string instruments\, ranging from acoustic guitar\, banjo and he recently picked up and started exploring the realm of the violin as well. The coming year will see him on the road again through Europe and North-America including the National Concert Hall in Dublin for the first time. \nThe project of Kristian Matsson – who has spent much of the last 19 years touring around the world as The Tallest Man On Earth – has captivated audiences using “every inch of his long guitar cord to roam the stage: darting around\, crouching\, stretching\, hip-twitching\, perching briefly and jittering away…” (The New York Times). In 2020\, Matsson left New York City and returned to his farm in Sweden where he drowned out his thoughts by manically growing vegetables in his garden. It was only near the end of 2021\, as he began to tour again\, that the inspiration returned. “When I’m in motion\, I can focus on my instinct\, have my daydreams again. When I was finally able to tour again\, I started writing like a madman.” He eventually had a collection of songs\, revealing what would become Henry St\, an album that sees Matsson exploring his own stubborn optimism and “how to be a person in this world”. \n​​​​​​​After 2015’s Dark Bird Is Home\, described by Pitchfork as his “most personal record… surreal and dreamlike\,” and his self-released I Love You\, It’s a Fever Dream in 2019\, Kristian Matsson returned in 2022 with the intricate cover album Too Late for Edelweiss. In 2023\, he unveiled his sixth album\, Henry St.\, marking the first time he recorded with a full band. “For most of my career\, I’ve been a DIY artist\, driven by the feeling that I didn’t know what I was doing\, so I just handled everything myself\,” Matsson explained. The tour visits such stops as Belvedere College\, the Gresham Hotel\, the James Joyce Statue\, Davy Byrnes\, and the National Library.\n\nThis is an excellent and fun introduction to Joyce in a bustling part of the city.\n\nThe James Joyce Centre offers two tours: Introducing Joyce’s Dublin and Footsteps of Leopold Bloom.\n\nEvery Thursday\, Friday & Saturday at 11 am. A 300-year-old story that claims to make its protagonist\, Mirandolina\, an example of the “barbaric cruelty” and “insulting contempt” of women who mock men’s love\, the effect of La Locandiera is in fact a sincere exaltation of female intelligence.  \nIn this exciting adaptation written by Abbey Theatre Associate Artist Marina Carr and directed by Caitríona McLaughlin\, Mirandolina examines the life of a lost young woman and the admirers and predators who surround her.   \nThis is a play about fear\, female fear\, and the price extracted from these lost girls who dare to fight back – a story finding fresh and unprecedented connections with the present. \nMirandolina is performed in Italian with English surtitles.  \nMirandolina is a world premiere co-production by the Abbey Theatre\, Teatro Stabile del Veneto – Teatro Nazionale and Croatian National Theatre in Rijeka – HNK Rijeka which celebrates the Milan-Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad.  \nIt premieres in Treviso\, Italy\, in February 2026 and tours to Belluno\, Venice\, Padua\, Verona\, Rijeka\, and Milan; before coming to the Abbey Stage in August 2026.  \nFunded as part of the Department of Culture\, Communications and Sport EU Presidency Culture Programme.
