SUMMARY:6 Tracks\, a Series of Conversations\, Music and Performance at Hen’s Teeth
DESCRIPTION:Night-Time Economy Grassroots Music Venues Support Scheme\nHen’s Teeth is delighted to announce the return of 6 Tracks – their much-loved conversation and performance series – in their Blackpitts venue for a new show event season running monthly from July through November 2026. \nEach evening\, a musician sits down with hosts Laura Twagirayezu (aka Big Cheeks) or Sally Cinnamon to talk through six tracks – the songs that have shaped their sound\, their life\, the way they hear the world and how it impacted their craft\, followed by a live performance into the evening. Think Tiny Desk meets Desert Island Discs. \nThe series will begin with the incredible Sorcha Richardson on Thursday\, 30th July. 6 Tracks will then continue monthly with a line up of Ireland’s most talented and inspiring artists\, including Efé\, Brigid Mae Power\, Saoirse Miller and a very special guest to close out the series to be announced. \n6 Tracks at Hen’s Teeth is kindly supported by the Department of Culture’s Night-Time Economy Grassroots Music Venues Support Scheme. \n\n  \nEvent details\nDoors from 6:30pm till late \nWhen? Monthly from July – November\, full line up and dates below \nTickets: €15 per night including booking fees from Eventbrite. \nWhere: Hen’s Teeth\, Blackpitts\, Dublin 8\, D08A9FD \n\nAbout the Acts\nSorcha Richardson (30th July)\nSorcha Richardson is an Irish singer and songwriter. She rose to critical acclaim from her debut album First Prize Bravery\, which was an evocative depiction of young adulthood\, a time during which she ventured from home in Dublin to New York\, Los Angeles and back again. Her follow up album Smiling Like an Idiot cemented her status as one of Ireland’s most revered songwriters and saw her tour North America\, Europe and Australia\, both as a headliner and as a special guest for artists such as Snow Patrol\, Mitski and Dermot Kennedy. \nShe returns this September 2026 with her third album\, Draw The Outline. Made after relocating to West Kerry\, it’s her most intimate and reflective record to date – trading synth-led textures for acoustic guitar\, woodwinds\, saxophone\, Hammond organ and piano\, and turning her gaze inward. \nBrigid Mae Power (27th August)\n \nBrigid Mae Power’s music never quite settles on solid ground. The Irish singer-songwriter sits between past and present\, between traditional and modern forms\, between the heaven in her voice and the earthbound epiphanies of her words. There’s something distinctively Irish in her sound\, delivered with a freshness and emotional rawness that feels entirely her own. \nShe’s released three albums to date\, including her acclaimed 2022 record Head Above the Water\, which was Rough Trade’s Album of the Month and earned praise from Pitchfork\, Mojo\, Uncut\, The Guardian and The Irish Times. Her albums blend traditional folk and country into something that feels both personal and wide-reaching. \nHer most recent record\, Songs for You\, is a heartfelt collection of covers dedicated to her father\, reworking songs by Roy Orbison\, Tom Verlaine\, Neil Young and Cass McCombs into something minimal\, intimate and entirely her own. \nEfé (24th September)\n \nEFÉ is an Irish artist hailing from Dublin. EFÉ released her debut EP What Should We Do This Summer in October 2020 which was recorded in her bedroom with the help of her friends. Her music is a sunny slice of bedroom pop\, evoking images of blue skies on a summer’s day using shimmering synth pads and funky\, modulated guitar tones. EFÉ sets herself apart from other artists with the unique and playful groove that provides the grounding for her DIY style\, and definitely marks her as one to watch from the emerging Irish scene. Her music is effortlessly nostalgic\, pulling on indie-tinged memories of the late 1990s and early 2000s. \nAfter signing to US label Fader; home to artists such as Clairo – she leaned further into her rock influences for her most recent single releases in 2024\, Truth Truth\, 2000Seven and you say that I’m crazy\, lo-fi indie tracks that make space for guitars to soar. As she puts it\, “In earlier projects I was scared to go full force with the rock sound\, but this year I thought\, let me just do it.” \nSaoirse Miller (29th October)\n \nSaoirse Miller is a Dublin-based singer-songwriter and producer whose music is rooted in Irish folklore and mythology and a lifelong fascination with the otherworldly. Her sound – spanning experimental folk\, ambient textures and ethereal vocal production – is less about genre and more about world-building\, creating somewhere else entirely to disappear into. \nInfluenced by Florence and the Machine\, Grouper\, Lisa O’Neill and the poetry of W.B. Yeats\, Saoirse writes songs that transform personal feeling into something mythic. Her connection to place runs deep – her grandparents are from Mizen Head in West Cork\, and it’s a landscape she returns to again and again\, in her music as much as in life. \nHer debut EP\, Birds\, was written and produced entirely by Saoirse herself\, with each track designed to blend and interlude into the next as one continuous body of work. Mixed and mastered to tape by Karl Barnes\, Birds channels Irish traditional music and folklore through an electroacoustic lens\, resulting in a sound that feels both faded and familiar. \nAbout Laura Twagirayezu\nRwandan-born and Dublin-based\, Laura is a curator\, DJ and cultural connector whose work consistently brings depth and warmth to questions of music\, identity and community. Whether she’s hosting her own Lobby Lectures series\, curating listening events through her gallery UMUTI:MA\, or moving between Afrobeats\, Amapiano\, Soul and R&B in the DJ booth – she understands music as a lens. 6 Tracks is a natural home for that kind of conversation. \nAbout Sally Cinnamon\nSally Cinnamon is one of Dublin’s most well known DJs\, a fixture of Dublin’s nightlife since 2001. Her sets are genre-spanning by design\, moving fluidly between afrobeat\, techno and dubstep\, with a strong undercurrent of retro and psychedelic sound that gives her selections a relatability for all. She has also turned her hand to presenting\, hosting the Hennessy Sound Lounge\, where she interviewed Irish artists including David Kitt\, Pillow Queens\, Vivienne Dick and BP Fallon about the records that shaped their work. \nAbout Hen’s Teeth\nHen’s Teeth creates contemporary cultural experiences from Blackpitts in Dublin 8. The crew has got a love for art\, music\, food and culture and the space where they all come together – whether that’s through their own gallery & event space or for some of the interesting folks and brands that they collaborate with across the world. Previous music events include Hennessy Sound Lounge\, Move Slow & 6 Tracks. \n\nTickets & more information available at www.hensteethdublin.com

SUMMARY:Cloudbusting - The Music of Kate Bush
DESCRIPTION:‘Utterly\, surreally brilliant’ – Mick Wall\, Classic Rock Magazine \nCloudbusting are the longest running and most universally celebrated tribute to the music of Kate Bush. With TV appearances and live performances across both the UK and Europe\, the band has earned an enviable reputation for being unquestionably the most accurate and authentic live experience for Kate fans. \nSignificantly\, they are the only band in the world to have performed Kate’s music with her original bass player and long standing sound engineer Del Palmer\, as well as drummer and percussionist Preston Heyman who appeared on the Tour Of Life\, Never For Ever & The Dreaming. The band has also performed with Stewart Avon-Arnold – Kate’s co-choreographer and dance partner who appeared with her in so many of those iconic videos and performances throughout her career. That’s quite an endorsement for Cloudbusting but it also stands as a reflection of the talent\, tenacity and passion that the 5-piece band has for Kate’s stunning music. \n‘I could have been listening to Kate herself!’ – Preston Heyman \nCloudbusting can’t wait to share their love for the music of Kate Bush with their two-hour stage production featuring all the hits you’d expect – as well as many songs you wouldn’t! Wuthering Heights\, Hounds of Love\, Babooshka\, This Woman’s Work… and of course the world-wide No.1 hit single that took every music chart by storm 37 years after its release – Running Up That Hill – all with breath-taking vocals and superb musicianship \nThe show is enhanced with stunning back-projection visuals which reflect the character and mood of the songs\, making a Cloudbusting concert an event that no Kate Bush fan will want to miss! With tickets to shows selling out fast\, be sure to look out for tour dates near you – Cloudbusting would love to exchange the experience! \n‘Blown away – your spin on Kate Bush is amazing’ – RTÉ Radio

SUMMARY:Joshua Ray Walker
DESCRIPTION:Joshua Ray Walker is a Dallas-born Country/Americana songwriter known for vivid\, character-driven storytelling and a rich tenor that blends classic Texas tradition with a modern emotional edge. Since his 2019 debut\, he has built a catalog defined by sharp writing\, dark humor\, and deep empathy for complicated people\, earning national television appearances\, multiple Grand Ole Opry performances\, and more than 2\,000 shows across the U.S. and Europe. \nHis sixth studio album\, Ain’t Dead Yet\, marks his most personal chapter to date. Recorded before\, during\, and after cancer treatment\, (including sessions the day before lung surgery that could have permanently altered his voice)\, the record wrestles with mortality\, gratitude\, memory\, and transformation. Sonically rooted in pedal steel\, fiddle\, and Walker’s signature guitar picking\, it captures an artist confronting uncertainty with defiance \, clarity\, and hard-won joy. \nAcross every release\, from early character portraits to ambitious concept records\, Walker’s through-line remains the same: songs that tell the truth\, even when it’s uncomfortable. On Ain’t Dead Yet\, he expands that hallmark into his most personal chapter yet\, documenting a profound period of change and a hard-won second chance.

SUMMARY:Vio-lence
DESCRIPTION:Formed in the Bay Area in 1985\, Oakland thrashers VIO-LENCE helped define and refine what came to beknown as the Bay Area sound. They instilled themselves as ground breakers of the second wave of thrash with their revered 1988 debut album “Eternal Nightmare”. Throughout ’88 and ’89\, VIO-LENCE toured the album to great success alongside thrash comrades like Testament\, Voivod\, Death Angel\, Sanctuary\, Nuclear Assault\, D.R.I.\, M.O.D. and the Cro-Mags. In ’89\, Megaforce Records/Atlantic signed the band\, leading to the release of the bands’ second album “Oppressing the Masses” (1990). The band toured the album to packed crowds alongside bands like Overkill\, Forbidden\, Exodus\, Flotsam & Jetsam\, and Prong. \nIn 1991\, VIO-LENCE released their EP “Torture Tactics” and their third studio album “Nothing to Gain”. 1993 brought the unfortunate break-up of the band\, with some members splintering off to form TORQUE and MACHINE HEAD. In 2019\, the band re-united at last as VIO-LENCE\, with original members Phil Demmel (lead guitar)\, Sean Killian (vocals)\, Perry Strickland (drums) and a new member informer FEAR FACTORY bassist\, Christian Olde Wolbers.

SUMMARY:Ebony | Dublin | The Grand Social
DESCRIPTION:Ebony\, at 25\, is one of the leading voices of female rap in Brazil\, with her songs reaching the top of the Spotify charts and her live shows featured at major festivals across the country. Born and raised in Queimados\, Rio de Janeiro\, Ebony had an upbringing which\, to this day\, affects her songwriting style. As a black child adopted by white religious parents\, growing up in what used to be one of Rio de Janeiro’s most dangerous neighbourhoods\, navigating between the streets\, the church\, abuse\, and an introspective eccentricity\, the stories Ebony tells are some of the most captivating in Brazilian hip hop. Her breakout track “Pensamentos Intrusivos” reached #1 on Brazil’s Spotify Viral Chart\, with multiple releases placing across national charts. She has performed live at the Multishow Awards\, Brazil’s main music awards ceremony\, and appeared on the cover of ELLE Brazil\, as well as becoming the first Brazilian female rapper to cover Galore Magazine. SUMMARY:Dunluvly
DESCRIPTION:Dunluvly are an Indie Folk band from Dublin\, Ireland. Originally the solo project of Shane Dunleavy\, the band has taken Dunluvly’s sound to new heights. \nThey now boast an impressive roster of musicians\, including Christian Conefery\, Mark Duggan\, Aisling Fitzgerald\, Karen Garvey\, Aidan Gray and Tommy Adams. They also perform with larger arrangements that include artists Ryan Fahey\, Naoise Mac Chonghaill\, Mark Garvey\, Eddy Blake\, John O’Connell and Arjun Desai. \nThey performed to a sold-out Whelan’s on the 27th of December 2023\, teasing some of the new EP ‘Flow’. On the back of this success\, lead singer Shane ventured into the RTE studios in January 2024. Here\, he played Hammer Fingers (released May 24th 2024) live on air and discussed the band’s future plans on ‘Tea With Toshín’. \n  \nThey rounded off January with a performance at ‘Ones to Watch Extra 2024’ on the Whelan’s Main Stage. The second single from their upcoming EP was released in February 2024. \n‘The Spire’\, a personal and political journey through the Dublin of today\, was featured on RTE 2fm and Bored City Blog. \nThe second single\, Hammer Fingers\, is an emotional live recording reminiscent of Hozier’s Cherry Wine. \nThe release of the EP ‘Flow’ is led by a chilled UK Hip-hop-inspired track that addresses the experience of writer’s block and the art of pushing through. \nThe band relocated to Wellington\, New Zealand at the end of 2024. Here the project has begun a new record\, with the fi rst new single landing on the 20th of June 2026 titled ‘Home Safe’: \n“Releasing a single written about the struggle of living 20\,000km away from so many friends and family\, we are very excited to be returning to Ireland to play it during our first tour at home in 2 years.” \nDunluvly’s single ‘Too Late’ was used by Surfl ine in their short fi lm ‘Out Front – Ireland’ as a soundtrack to showcase Ireland’s most prevalent professional surfers. Additionally\, Shane produced the original soundtrack for the fi lm ‘Where Will We Go’ which will screen at the Disappear Here Film Fest and Inheritance – The Environmental Festival. 2023 boasted debut performances at Whelan’s ‘Ones to Watch’ festival and Electric Picnic’s Trailer Park\, off the back of their fi rst national tour.
