A 300-year-old story that claims to make its protagonist\, Mirandolina\, an example of the “barbaric cruelty” and “insulting contempt” of women who mock men’s love\, the effect of La Locandiera is in fact a sincere exaltation of female intelligence.  \nIn this exciting adaptation written by Abbey Theatre Associate Artist Marina Carr and directed by Caitríona McLaughlin\, Mirandolina examines the life of a lost young woman and the admirers and predators who surround her.   \nThis is a play about fear\, female fear\, and the price extracted from these lost girls who dare to fight back – a story finding fresh and unprecedented connections with the present. \nMirandolina is performed in Italian with English surtitles.  \nMirandolina is a world premiere co-production by the Abbey Theatre\, Teatro Stabile del Veneto – Teatro Nazionale and Croatian National Theatre in Rijeka – HNK Rijeka which celebrates the Milan-Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad.  \nIt premieres in Treviso\, Italy\, in February 2026 and tours to Belluno\, Venice\, Padua\, Verona\, Rijeka\, and Milan; before coming to the Abbey Stage in August 2026.  \nFunded as part of the Department of Culture\, Communications and Sport EU Presidency Culture Programme.

Belichick drafted and crafted superstars such as Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. \nThe 2026 Aer Lingus College Football Classic will be just the fifth time TCU and North Carolina football teams compete against each other dating back to 1940 and the first time for both teams to have played football internationally. \nTCU are two-time National Championship winners and most recently reached the College Football National Championship in 2023. While both teams have a rich history of producing top level football talent\, UNC have also produced other sporting legends such as 6-time NBA Champion Micheal Jordan and 2x Olympic Gold Medallist and FIFA World Cup Winner Mia Hamm to name a few.

DESCRIPTION:Foggy Notions are proud to present the Irish Debut of Way Dynamic. \nWay Dynamic\, the solo project of Melbourne’s Dylan Young\, will soon release internationally Massive Shoe – a third album that’s playful and understated\, luminous and textured. Massive Shoe is minimalist folk-pop\, art rock and baroque pop\, produced and largely played by Young\, who moonlights in Melbourne’s beloved Cool Sounds and Good Morning and has played drums with Snowy Band and Kankawa Nagarra. It’s tempting to only compare these timeless songs to those of yesteryear\, but there’s a sensibility\, a turn of phrase\, that feels deeply contemporary: it’s telling that Waxahatchee’s Katie Crutchfield described “Miffed It” as her “favourite song in a VERY long time”\, and Katie and MJ Lenderman have both taken Way Dynamic on tour. At the same time\, Sir Elton John said that he “just cannot stop listening” to “Ibiza”. Young’s songs don’t shy away from sentiment\, or equally from silliness: on any given song he might evoke a cruisy trip through hell or earnestly lament a miscommunication. Whether the journey is to space or along the Seine\, we’re very much along for the ride. \n

DESCRIPTION:Formed\, almost accidentally\, in a shared east LA lockout\, the members of Clarion came together to write music together in late 2023. Anthony\, Saya and Joseph had all had spent time in the local DIY scene of East Los Angeles and in 2024 decided to record the songs they had been writing in a quick three-day sprint. They implemented efforts like layering multiple amps in stereo\, panned left to right with different tones\, to create an illusion of two guitarists. They tried every idea that came to mind\, allowing the songs to become fully realised instead of rushed. The result is an immersive and youthful mix of shoegaze\, post-punk\, and Japanese rock. These recordings became their debut EP\, simply titled Clarion. \nThe song “Hello Juliet” from that EP quickly gained traction on TikTok when a fan-made video started to go viral. Of the song\, singer and bassist Saya Oliva says “The song is about wanting to make it right with someone.” Guitarist Anthony Sanchez adds\, “I ended up writing the riff and song after one of my best friends passed\, and we weren’t on the best of terms when it happened so the lyrics really reflect that feeling of regret\, of wanting to start over.”  \nFrom there\, they were catapulted from their local DIY scene to a much bigger stage. Signing with Broke Records in 2025\, “Hello Juliet” continued to grow and find more listeners as it currently has more than 55 million streams across platforms. Opportunities to tour with artists like Violent Vira\, Rehash\, Mexican Slum Rats\, and Mind’s Eye followed in 2025 as the band honed their live set and added touring member Javier Flores on drums. Intent on fully earning their touring stripes in 2026\, they are heading out on the road supporting shoegaze legends Panchiko and embarking on their own national headline tour.  As busy as they are\, community is at the core of Clarion. You can still find them jumping onstage at their local Dennys for a sold out DIY show or hosting their annual Christmas charity benefit show in Pomona. \nWhen they aren’t on tour\,  they’re back in the room where they started — jamming\, debating\, refining\, and crafting a sound big enough to swallow the space around them. Off the success of their debut EP\, they’ve released a handful of singles leading into Blue Fairy\, their new EP out now.

DESCRIPTION:Hen’s Teeth is delighted to announce the launch of Sent Off\,  a limited two day exhibition depicting Roy Keane’s red cards by Seánie Harte at their Blackpitts space\, on the 3rd and 4th September. \nThe show brings together 16 original oil pastel works (16\, for the number Keane’s jersey) exploring one of Irish football’s most talked-about moments in Keane’s career: the red cards picked up during his time playing for both Manchester United and Ireland. \n \nWorking with oil pastel on both wood panel and paper – Harte builds each piece from an initial sketch through to the finished work. The exhibition includes multiple pieces built around single moments\, including a group of works centred on Keane’s tackle on Alf-Inge Håland\, alongside earlier and more recent additions to the series\, some of which have never been shown publicly before. \nSent Off is Seánie’s first solo exhibition and in his words: \n“Football already means so much to people\, so hopefully this exhibition can act as a gateway to art for supporters who might not normally visit an art exhibition. I’d love to see more football and art crossing over in Ireland\, and if this helps in some small way\, that would be brilliant.” \nAll works in the exhibition are original\, framed pieces available for purchase throughout its run at Hen’s Teeth.
